If you think your short haired pup doesnt shed think again!! RUN dont walk to amazon and get yourself an equigroomer brush!! Best money you will ever spend. I swear it will change your life 🤌🏼 they come in large sizes and small sizes i reccomend the 5’ tool it fits good in the hand and works perfectly on dogs with hair/fur 1/4’or shorter. Not as effective for longer haired animals but I can reccomend you brushes for all pups 😉
Slomo blow out! Complete deshed after a long winter. All washed and combed ready for spring and summer!
Tik tok has good stuff sometimes ❤️
This is going to be upsetting to probably all of you but THIS. This is why I started grooming years ago. ive had a couple of dogs similar to this cross my table and it absolutely is heart wrenching to me. But to be able to help these babies and give them a brand new life is why I do this. So when I tell yall ways to maintain your pet at home between grooms, its not to waste my time or yours by preeching, its to prevent this kind of stuff from happening (now usually this take YEARS of literal neglect to get THIS bad) but in general matting occurs from lack of proper brushing. Taking that bristle brush to the top coat is all well and great but your actually missing the deeper layers which matt first typically. The excuse of “they wont let me brush them” doest sit with me because 9/10 once the pup is with me i have absolutely 0 fuss from these guys. Matting is incredibly painful if its severe enough and thats why this pup was knocked out for the procedure. The hair practically molds to the skin making it sometimes almost impossibly to shave off and it tugs and pulls at the skin causing pain, not to mention potential burns. They cant see, have a hard time breathing, walking, even eating. Imagine walking around 100° FL with a heavy winter wool coat, but glued to you day in and day out. Theres anti anixety meds you can get to help you with fussers if they really fight it at home. Theres products you can buy to help with detangling as well as different brushes and combs and Id be happy to point you in the right direction. Always research your breeds before getting them so you know what youre getting yourself into, dont get just because they are cute, its still a living being that depends on you to take care of them. Times get hard and sometimes minor matting happens, as long as you get it taken care of sooner rather than later before it gets really bad then youre good! Dont let this happen to your babies!!
