You’ve got a cute little ball of fluff and the fluff needs care. Order some different brushes but start now with a normal hairbrush from the store. Ideal time is after play but it’s okay to just run it over them a few times and quit. Goals will be to not bite you or the brush. It’s a stimulating activity for them and enjoyable too.

The pups had their big trip to the vet for another round of deworming and their first vaccinations. They did awesome in the car and on the vet’s table. The largest boy weighs 13 lbs and the smallest girl weighs 10.6.
They will be ready for their second round July 20th.

This is purple girl. She (like the rest of the girls) is pretty dominant in the pack and was really determined to show me she was my boss too. I rolled her onto her back. As you can see- she starts out mad and fighting it. The release comes the instant she calms.

I like these bowls because they are heavy so tipping them would take some major effort. If you decide to free-feed, the dogs tend to mimic “burying” their food when full, which can cause spills and bowls traveling around the room. Haha!
I use this for both food and water. Easy to toss in the dishwasher too.

These pups learn by the minute. Play has increased and so has their teething. To start teaching them- they have lots of toy selection for play but also must sit before I give them attention. As you can see, I keep my hand where it’s hard to bite/chew. If they do get me or my clothing, I just fold their upper lip over their canine, say “no bite” and they release immediately. They don’t understand “no bite” yet but with consistency they will. They will also learn not to jump by only getting attention in the polite sitting position.

Wishing you a happy 4th of July! Our neighborhood only does one show and it was on Saturday, so their exposure was minimal to fireworks. As you can see, they are their usual selves tonight.
