Meet Stella💕🐾
I met Stella for the 1st time yesterday. Her human whom she’s been with for only 3mo was in a pickle after her pet sitter met Stella for the first time right before they were leaving town for a couple days & was uncomfortable with how Stella portrayed herself from the start.
Stella is a ~10mo pitty who hasn’t had the greatest start to life until she was rescued by her new human. Stella is very unsure of humans & the world around her but with patience she comes around some.
Yesterday afternoon when they arrived, she wanted absolutely nothing to do with me (which is completely understandable), but I just sat in my yard chatting calmly to her human without paying much attention to Stella as she growled & barked at me or any noise she heard. Little by little she became curious but still cautious of me, wouldn’t take a treat from me but would eat them off the ground! I’ll post the progress of yesterday separately… FOR NOW, watch my video below as I introduce you to Stella & how she reacts to me less than 24hrs after meeting me & being dropped off!

It’s been a crazy week with 8 dogs in the house, but I must say, it well very well & kudos to our 2 dogs (Daisy & Rumor) for being champs with so many friends staying over familiar & not familiar💕🐾!

Spring is in the air & spring break is right around the corner for most kids in school!!! One of the busiest travel times of the year for sure!

I’ll have a house full of dogs🐾 next week. 4 families & 6 dogs +our 2🤪 (yes I’m crazy, 8 dogs for a week)!!! Clearly I’ll be busy, but it’s what I love doing!!!

The last day of my week long visit with Gunther & Apollo- Gunther was really pulling at my heart strings💕
I love being able to make an impact in an animals life. Although he had met me prior, Gunther was total stranger danger (common with Great Danes since they are scared of basically everything) when his humans disappeared & I showed up. The 1st I’d say 2 days of my 7 day stay, he was extremely unsure of me regardless how excited his brother was to see me! But I allowed him to get comfortable and didn’t push him or force the situation.
By the last day as I cleaned the house and packed my stuff, he didn’t want me to leave. You can see it all below in the video-you can see how comfortable he is with me, he’s guarding my blanket that he snuggled under with me and his facial expressions are priceless💙🐾
I really do truly enjoy working with animals. It’s the ones that lack confidence that steal my heart the fastest because I know I can provided opportunities to help build their confidence. Especially because in most cases, I can steal their heart and acceptance when the owners feel it’s not possible😉

Most of you know before getting my LLC, my previous name was Your Little Helper. Over the next few weeks I will be working on transferring my photos from there to here along with anything else from the page, like reviews & posts.
