Coming from someone who’s worked with dogs for 6 years.
I’d have to say that I would take a pitbull over a Chihuahua any day.
If Chihuahuas were bigger, they would definitely do more damage.  But it is so upsetting that pit bulls gets such a bad rap when most of them come from loving homes and are good, loyal dogs.
Nobody’s yelling at sweet old Betty, when her Chihuahua comes charging at everybody, but if it was a pitbull, she would never live it down. 
Chihuahuas can literally get away with barking their heads off, aggressively showing their teeth and biting. If a pit-bull did that he or she would be put down.
