🐴Dr. Klein earned this distinctive credential through a rigorous examination process following a hospital internship at Rood and Riddle Equine Hospital, rotating internship at University of Pennsylvania’s New Bolton Center, and an equine surgery residency at Iowa State University.

Kentucky Equine Hospital was established by Dr. Wes Sutter and Dr. John Cummins as a surgery, advanced imaging and field service hospital located in Simpsonville, Kentucky. Offering MRI, PET, Scintigraphy (Bone Scan) and Sports Medicine evaluations, the team at Kentucky Equine Hospital has experience servicing some of the nations top competition horses across a variety of disciplines.

Construction has officially begun on our new state-of-the-art orthopedic surgical hospital with standing CT. Upon completion, we will dedicate our current surgical building to emergency services. This will provide us the opportunity to completely separate sick horses from elective surgeries, imaging and lameness and allow us to achieve the best biosecurity design possible!
