Thank you to everyone who has joined us on the mission to help animals find their fur-ever homes! It has always been a goal of Behr’s Boutique, to help pets in our community in innovative ways…leading us to the extension of the business, “Behr’s Cares”. 🫶🏻

We teamed up with .co to repurpose what would have been discarded fabric waste, to turn it into something to works towards this cause. Creating “Adopt Me” bandanas helps shelters and agency’s showcase their available pets. The adorable recipients of this donation project are currently available with the Naussa County SPCA. Please see more information below on these four legged friends!

🐶 Clooney is a 2 year old pit bull. He can be shy but with time he turns into a playful pup!

🐶Tiger is an 8 - year old German Shepherd that was forced to live outside in a makeshift shack. The conditions were so poor, that the dog he was with did not survive. Luckily the NCSPCA got to him in time to avoid this being Tiger’s fate. He likes small, calm dogs and is not a fan of cats. Tiger is a devoted dog and enjoys being in the company of his favorite people.

🐱Puma is a a 3 year old male with the sweetest meow and a purr like a bird. He is quiet at first, but will tap your hand and rub into you for attention. Puma is good with other cats.

🐶Oreo is a 10-year old Shih Tzu that was rescued with of a group of animals being mistreated. He was found living in a bin, kept in a closet. Oreo was covered in fleas, anemic and laying in his own waste. Oreo is blind and has dementia. After many sessions of swim therapy, he has built muscle and become more mobile. Nowadays he enjoys the freedom of smelling the grass and stretching out on oversized fluffy beds.

🐱 Blue is the sweetest and most outgoing 6 year old male. He will gently grab your hand or tap you for more attention. He is good with other cats and seems to be fine with calm small dogs.

A huge thank you to all involved in this collaboration project! These bandanas will hopefully help these cuties find owners as great as they are, and will continue to help animals that follow behind them. .co

Today is a special day for Behr’s Boutique. Today is our 2nd year anniversary since turning our dream of creating a pet accessory brand with products as unique as the pets themselves into a reality. Over the last two years you all have supported us on this mission and we couldn’t be more grateful for the incredible animal loving community that is Behr’s Boutique.

Additionally, today is the wedding anniversary of my grandparents who are the foundation of Behr’s Boutique. In the 1940’s they received a sewing machine as a wedding gift and to this day, we use that machine to bring you handcrafted pet accessories, continuing their legacy with every stitch. It feels so fitting that we share this anniversary.

As we look back on the past two years, we want to thank each of you for being a part of this amazing journey with us. Today, we hit 1,000 followers and we couldn’t be more appreciative for each and every one of you. Thank you for being a part of the Behr family. ❤️

Hello Behr’s Family! While we had a wonderful day at the town of Hempstead animal adoption event today, it breaks our hearts to know that Mickey remains without a fur-ever home. Mickey is a 1 1/2 year old boxer hound mix. He is active and gets along well with other dogs. Please help spread the word about this beautiful boy and help us find him a home as perfect as he is. If you or someone you know if interested in adoption please reach out to the Town of Animal Shelter directly or DM us and we can put you in contact with the right people. ❤️
