This is Baxter- a 1.5 year old Labradoodle. His owners wanted Baxter to be better behaved. While he’s still a puppy, he has developed some bad habits that we needed to help his owners manage. We did a lot of work on the leash, and also gave the owners management tools to help control his excitement at the door and around other dogs. While we can’t fix everything, his owners were so happy with the results! Baxter knows all his basic obedience, I long crashes the door when someone rings the doorbell, and doesn’t act like a crazy dog when he sees other pups!

She's a 3 year old Mini-Doxie, and she is full of personality! Her owners wanted to gain more control over their pups - they also have another older Doxie named Stretch. They have small children, and we are teaching them basic obedience to help them keep a low level of chaos - because we all know it can get crazy with kids and dogs! Tootsie is doing great! Halo is a 3 year old Havanese. She was rescued by her owner from an Amish puppy mill. This little girl has a lot to overcome. She is very skittish, and doesn't warm up very quickly! She is enrolled in a 6 week basic obedience program, and we are working toward making her more comfortable with people and also the basic obedience to help her trust develop trust in her owner and surroundings. Dandy was a great dog to train- smart, and so willing to please. This beautiful Setter was one of the many great dogs that Richard had the pleasure of teaching, and is a bright star in his lifelong career!

Happy Monday!! 🐾 We wanted to introduce Jet - a Pit Bull mix, adopted from our friends over at the Suncoast Humane Society. He's approximately 2-3 years old, and such a sweetie! While rescue dogs can be unpredictable because we don't know what their experience has been prior to their training, they can also warm up quickly and be super willing to please! Jet is the latter - he's a great dog, and is learning so much in his training! We are 2 weeks in, and he's ahead of the game!

Dante is a 8 month old Standard party poodle. Why party poodle? He has a white "blaze" on his chest, and white speckled feet. He's not all black, so we call him a party poodle! GRAD ALERT! 😊🎉 Meet Bailey! She is a 1 year old Golden Retriever that completed a 6 week basic obedience program this week.
While this picture may just look like Richard and her are best friends (which is what usually happens 😂😂) but this was a HUGE milestone for Bailey. She is very skittish- and during her obedience program, we focused on tools to help Bailey and her owner work around and reduce the amount of fear and anxiety. At the end, for the first time in 6 weeks- Bailey warmed up enough to hop up on the couch with Richard to give him one last cuddle before we said our see-ya-laters!

Meet our new clients- Lucy and Merle! Lucy is a red coated poodle, and Merle is a gray and black MERLE coat! See what they did there?!
These poodles are a designer size- Moyen is what they are called. Moyen stands for “medium” in French. These guys won’t be as big as a standard poodle, but not as small as a miniature. So think of a Standard poodle puppy, that just didn’t get full grown. We can’t wait to see the work that these poodles can do! This breed is so smart, and joy to train. Stay tuned!
