We have a pup available out of Gracie/Poncho that is under a year old. Her birthday is 1/3/25. She is current on vaccines(rabies/DHPP).
She is a great dog and loves her people. Lots of energy and drive and would make a great hunting dog, sport fog, or active family dog. She does need to be the only dog in the home, that is why she is being returned to us. Please contact us if you are interested in her or would like more details.

When we first started breeding we didn’t really know a whole lot about hunt tests. So we did some research and found a well established trainer in a different state and had every intention of sending our puppy there. That was until we met River Bottom Dog Training.
Tyler was just starting his business when we first spoke to him. He didn’t have much experience running hunt tests, and didn’t have any hunt test clients to show us. He mostly trained hunting dogs, but was eager to get into the hunt test world. We decided to take a chance and went out to meet with him. From the moment that Iggy met him, we knew we would be sending our dog there. Iggy picked her trainer.
It has been an honor to watch Tyler’s business grow over the last few years. He has built a top notch training program and we are proud to be a part of the River Bottom family. You can see the dedication as he learns and grows with each dog he works with.
This past week Tyler and Paige took 10 dogs to Master Nationals. Out of those 10 dogs, 7 of them passed all 6 series! They both put in a lot of work and it truly shows! So thank you for everything you’ve done with all our dogs!

Very proud of Thror getting his first Master Nationals pass! Can’t wait to see what the next hunt test season brings us!

🐾 Meet K9 Bandit! 🐾

Bandit is nearly 8 months old and was proudly donated to our program by Fire Kissed Goldens. From the very start, he was paired with our Canine Coordinator, Katelyn Aubrey, and began his Human Remains Detection (HRD) training at just 8 weeks old.

Bandit is everything we look for in a future search and rescue partner, surefooted, confident, and agile. With his high toy drive and food motivation, he’s already showing impressive skills: confidently identifying HR source and demonstrating beautiful hunting capabilities far beyond his age.

When he’s not working, Bandit is a well loved member of the Aubrey family, bringing joy, mischief, and lots of wagging tails into their home. ❤️

Thank you for everyone for all the share! Phoenix has found a new home!

This is Phoenix out of Gracie/Poncho. She was returned to us through no fault of her own and is looking for a new home that better fits her needs.

Pheonix was born 1/3/25, and is current on Rabies/Distemper through 6/26. She is still a puppy and very much has some puppy energy, but has a fantastic off switch when just chilling in the home. She does great with the other dogs in the house, as well as our cats, but would do best in a home without small furry critters(like bunnies).

Pheonix would do best in a home that is active with their dogs. Whether that be dog sports, or just involved in your everyday life. She loves her people. She trains easily and picks up on new commands quickly. Currently she has been potty trained, crate trained, knows “here”, heel, sit, place, down, leave it, and loose leash walking.

We have a female puppy out of Gracie/Poncho available. Jinx was born 1/3/25 and is a very happy go lucky and affectionate puppy. She has been working on her basic obedience and knows sit, stay, here, heel, and place. She is relatively good walking on a leash(though she occasionally gets distracted as she’s still just a puppy 😅). She has great kennel manners and is potty trained in the house.
We originally planned on keeping her to sell as a started dog this fall, but have decided to make her available now. If we do not find the right home we will still keep her for a started dog this fall.
Jinx is a great little pup if someone is looking for an active family dog/hunting/sport dog. She’s got a good amount of drive matched with a good off switch. If you’re interested in a pup that is started on basic obedience and out of the “young” puppy stage please contact us through messenger or send in an online application.

A lot of times we are asked how we are able to raise and love all of our puppies for the first couple of months, and then send them away to their new homes. We put a lot of time, energy, and resources into our pups prior to them leaving, and while we do love all of them, homes like this one make it so much easier to say goodbye. We have been so blessed to have so many great families take our puppies home, and give them all the love they deserve.

This is Theo(teal collar out of Entei/Tater) with his human Griffin. They are quite the duo and Griffin is doing a fantastic job with his pup!
