4 month old female Cavapoo
I’m sadly having to rehome my little Cavapoo due to unexpected ill health. I live on my own with her and struggle to give her the attention she needs, which will only worsen. She is 4 months old, mum was cavapoo and dad was miniature poodle. She currently weighs 4kg so will be quite small when fully grown. She is up to date with all vaccinations, including kennel cough, flea and worm treated. The vet has never had any concerns relating to her health, although she does have an umbilical hernia. This causes her no issues and will either close up itself or can be repaired whilst she is being spayed.
She is toilet trained and uses toilet bells to alert me when she needs out. She walks well on the lead and is well socialised with dogs, cats and children. She has also been attending puppy classes and dog groups, which she loves. She is very playful and doesn’t seem phased by anyone, even bigger dogs. She really loves the attention. I have a shared garden and she plays well with my neighbours dog and loves to play to fetch. She sleeps all night in her crate and although I need to put her in this through the day at times (max 2 hours), she really isn’t keen on it. She much prefers the sofa or floor. I have just purchased a baby gate as I was going to allow her out the crate and be confined to the living room when I need to nip out, however I will leave this decision with her new family.
She would be more suited to couples/families/retired people/people that work from home, as this breed do struggle to be on their own, so please consider this before getting in touch. Please also consider the possibility of going back to basics with training as she is still very young and a new environment will likely affect all this. I have trained her to sit/stand/wait/come/leave it/lie down/walk nice.
She has also had her first puppy groom as you can see from the photos, and she was very well behaved. She very rarely barks, only when someone comes to the door. She will sit/lie happily on the balcony watching the world go by and just has a happy waggy tail when she sees someone.
Included will be her crate, blanket, teddies/toys (lots), chews, 2 baby gates, sand/water/ball pit, 2 x harnesses, 2 x leads and I will also give one of my worn tops for a familiar scent to help settle her. She absolutely loves food and this has probably helped so much more with training. She is on wet puppy food, and also mix some dry food in there which I will give to you. I also give her scrambled eggs, bananas, strawberries, apples, broccoli, peanut butter and natural yoghurt. Chicken seems to give her runny poops so I avoid this.
If interested please message me telling me about yourself/family/lifestyle etc and if you have any questions. I would also prefer a few meet and greets before she leaves, just to ensure that she is less stressed than necessary.
