Leaving approx Feb 16-18 (will be waiting on my last doe to kid, so my date will rely on her kidding due date which is Feb 13 just FYI)
My first stop is Charlottesville, VA at Better Wayz.

I transport in an enclosed horse trailer, bottle kids will be in the front stall, well bedded, free of drafts, and I will keep a heater with me.
Adults will be stalled in the back portion of the trailer, separately with hay and water 24/7. All animals have cameras on them that I have a monitor in the truck. I carry livestock insurance and commercial insurance and am DOT and MC compliant.

Trailer is cleaned and biosecurity is practiced! Message me to book your spot. I will go off this route within reason!

Super kind, bombproof, 16.1 h 4 year old TB gelding. Raced 12 times and retired sound. He was used as a pony horse in the morning the last few months and he honestly is a lazy bum. He requires a LOT of leg. He would be best suited for someone that wants to wander around the lower levels, for a lesson program (he LOVES to work- you won’t see a better work ethic anywhere), or an older persons hunt horse. He has needs to be in a program to build muscle back up, and requires front shoes. Otherwise he is fairly low maintenance with zero vices. He is low man in the field, and is extremely gentle. He loves to work, so will be sad if you don’t take him out every day, but is the same horse if you only take him out once a week. He is still green, so shouldn’t be brought along alone by a totally novice rider- but can be ridden by one and with guidance I see no issues with one having success with him.

No trials. PPE welcome. Asking $5️⃣5️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ negotiable to the perfect situation. Coggins from January 2024 in hand. Dentistry just done 9/6/24.

This guy was born in 2016, stands approximately 16.1 and raced 52 times. He won 12 of them for around $400k. He ran in stakes races and is what we call a war horse. He does have some jewelry and is priced accordingly. But he’s got his head on straight, and will be a fantastic partner for someone that appreciates one who has been there and done all of that. We have finally finished kidding with Feathernscale Baby Puddin 2*M AR FSVVEE 90 giving us FOUR bucks to choose from by Dragonfly TAL Leopold. One is being retained, as Pud is very special. One will go to my good friend Kelly Walsh, once Kyle picks out which one he wants. And hopefully the other two will find herds to be equally appreciated soon!

And, in two weeks I am making a very anticipated trip to Kansas. We absolutely cannot WAIT to welcome our new herd members!!!! Thank you to 𝒮𝓌ℯℯ𝓉ℯ𝓇 𝒯𝒽𝒶𝓃 ℋℴ𝓃ℯ𝓎 ℋℴ𝓂ℯ𝓈𝓉ℯ𝒶𝒹 for allowing us to add Old Mountain Farm Leopardite, Old Mountain Farm Caprice, Sweeter Than Honey Feta James, and Sweeter Than Honey Sonata.

Fun fact! I initially HAD to have Sonata because my first win with one of my own racehorses was with a mare named Sonata Gold, with my friend Natasha Santmyer up, in Boston.

We are also super excited to find out that our 3 girls that came down from Cheryl at Denbow are in fact pregnant and due soon! She thought they were, UNH said they were not (via blood), their udders said they were, so I dropped bloodwork off today at Precision Diagnostics in New Holland... and now kid watch begins!!!!
Melanie and I will more than likely retain all does from Windy and Meadows doe. And due to Pud's age, I'll be watching her like a hawk and likely retain anything she gives me and love it dearly! ❤️. All 3 crosses should be phenomenal!

Here I thought my spring kidding was over!

What an amazing kidding season we have had!!!! We made some incredible upgrades to our herd this past year, and I am truly blessed by the additions that were made. Some of my homebreds have found new homes, others were bred to the new bucks, and lots of new blood found its way here. Look for the posts with retained kids, doe info, and buck info coming soon.
I have been making soap and goat products to get started for a few events and markets this year.
If we have interest, we will do some goat cuddling sessions.

I will likely not be offering many hatching eggs or chicks this year, as I have downsized that portion of the farm for now to focus on the goats!
