Mama Blossom says I know I’m shy, but why doesn’t anyone want to come meet me? 😭💔 She looks at me with these eyes every day. I tell her I promise you won’t be abandoned outside again and she is safe here…but she saw all her kittens get adopted, and so many of her friends, and here she waits, sad eyes and all.
She is timid but sweet. She deserves her happy ever after.
Experienced cat owner would be best. She did very well with a little boy that came to meet another kitty, I was quite impressed!! (He had wonderful manners and they hit it off.)

I got him one of those cat tree things. Put it together and said dude I think you too big for this🤣 Him did get on the top. I got it that high so he could watch out the window.”

Smudge…8-10 years old and finally off the streets. She struggled and suffered out there. I don’t think she would have made it through this storm and this cold.
She is so exhausted. She has been throwing up the last two days. We are keeping a close eye on her. We are so grateful she is inside with us, loved, safe, and warm.
She gobbled up her canned food tonight after being very picky the last two days. We had a vet visit for her last week and she did great, but has been feeling off ever since.
If she isn’t feeling better tomorrow this poor baby is going back to the vet.
She is a little spicy, but that is more than understandable and we love her just the way she is. You can tell in her own way how grateful she is.

🤟 NEW KITTY FOR ADOPTION! 🤟
Meet Violet (Vi for short!)
This sweet and chunky girl was TNVR (trap neutered vaccinated released) from a fellow rescue group in the spring. We reached out to some rescue friends and said that we had some open space if they knew of any kitties in need. They trapped her again and brought her to us!!
We got her vaccines updated, and got her combo tested (negative!)
She needs a tooth removed (which I will be scheduling for her and paying for out of pocket) but she is very ready for her forever home and a lifetime of love!!
She is a little reluctant with other kitties AT FIRST but then does perfectly with them!
Come meet this sweet couch potato!! She loves canned food, churru tubes, enjoys being pet (not picked up), and sleeping in big comfy blankets. She is very talkative and so beautiful. She is 1-2 years old. She is so grateful to be inside.

Bam has found himself in need of a new home. He was adopted at 10 weeks in May of 2022. Bam was very loved and cared for but has found himself needing a new, loving and forever home.
We took him back a few weeks ago. Got him combo tested again just to ensure still negative (which he is!) and he is up to date on all vaccines. He was neutered by us as a kitten. He was examined by the vet, given a clean bill of health with needing some ear meds (which we have completed.)
Bam is the sweetest boy in the world. He gets along well with all other cats and lived with three wild Pomeranians that he loved.
He is afraid of loud noises and would not do well with small children. Older children are no problem as it’s not due to his demeanor, he is as sweet as could be!!
He is a bit shy and timid but loves snuggling under the blankets, will sit with you for hours and will sleep under the covers in your arms all night.
He loves to head butt you for face and head kisses, and boop your nose with his!! He also looooooooves any and all food!! He is very large-about 15 pounds and will hug you with his paws around your neck. He acts like a little baby and has the tiniest mew and whine.
He needs a patient, loving and calm home.
Please help us find Bam the home he deserves so we can help heal his heart. He is sad and we just want him to have his happily ever after.

Ed, Edd and Eddy are all brothers and a year and half!! They will be going to our friends at this week and are hoping to find their forever homes (separately or together!!)
They are on the shy side, but oh so sweet and handsome!! They do great with kids!!

She is so outgoing and laid back, she loves to purr on your lap!!! She is now safe and off the streets and in my parents foster care.

Happiest adoption to Red this week!!! We are so grateful to Kelsey for opening her heart and her home to give this guy a second chance at life off the streets!!!

Last but not least, our baby Ellie (formerly Bubbles) who we’ve had for almost a year now!🥳❤️ she also has Cerebellar Hypoplasia (wobbly cat syndrome) like her big brother, Nemo. Elliekins is the weirdest cat we’ve ever met and we adore her for that😂
She loves any and all toys and she LOVES food, if you come anywhere near her food she lets out this adorable little baby growl. She also lets me put little outfits on her which I appreciate❤️ she is almost a year old and still super tiny🥹 she is the perfect edition to our family and she sure does keep us on our toes!!”

Bam is wondering why no one wants to come meet him, all he wants to do is snuggle under the covers with you ❄️

She was adopted by a wonderful friend of mine who has adopted four other Meeps in the past.
She went home with her Friday. She is already doing SO well with her new mommy!!!
It was a tough decision to not keep her, (I want to keep them all!!!) but I know without a doubt now it was the right decision.
I only have so much money and time, and I am so beyond grateful to our adopters!

Welcome our newest Meep-Mittens! We rescued him this week with help from my lovely friend Esther.
He was a friendly kitty at a colony she helps to feed.
He waited for her every single day. I will post more photos in another post!!
This poor baby. He is very confused right now, and vocal. We believe he was abandoned, and TNVR.
We have a vet visit for him this Monday to update vaccines, get him combo tested and check for a URI.

Nimbus- estimated 3 to 5 yrs old, white with a few black areas and a long haired.
This sweet guy is shy at first but once he knows you are nice and give food just wants to be your lazy couch potatoe in crime!
He lays by your feet and follows when you walk, loves his chin scratched, and lets ppl hold him for a little bit. His dream is to belong to a family who will never throw him away again.
Great with other cats, kids, a bit hesitant on dogs so for now applicants with no dogs please

Love for Misfit Meeps
This story starts with a beautiful handicapped kitty named MarciMeep. She was found in a garbage can at just three weeks old. Marceline was born with a unique brain condition, a form of cerebral hypoplasia, that caused her paralysis although she had feeling all over her body. She was able to move her neck, head, back legs slightly and her tail. She loved meowing, eating, and above all, giving and receiving love. Alanna received a call about her and immediately went to pick her up, while her condition was completely unknown at this time. The two were bonded upon first look.
Alanna took her to many vets to asses her condition and ensure quality of life. Most vets suggested euthanasia at just three weeks old as “her life would be nothing but gradual suffering” and was given a life expectancy of no more than six months. Alanna took her to Cornell Veterinary Hospital and was assured that Marci was not in any pain and with proper care could live a very comfortable life, although projected to be shorter than most other cats. Throughout the duration of Marci’s life she needed constant care, and precise attention to her needs and wants. Alanna owns her own grooming business (Furry Paws Pet Salon in Spencerport, NY) so she was able to bring her to work every day with her. Her routines included assisted feedings of canned food and water, lots of bath clean ups after going to the bathroom (she did have control of this), and most importantly constant love, snuggles and kisses. Alanna provided her with one on one attention all day, every single day, because that is exactly what Marci deserved as all special needs animals deserve. They all deserve to be given a chance, regardless of the severity of their condition, as long as they are not in pain or suffering.
Marci absolutely loved her life, and she exuded it to everyone that had the privilege of meeting her. She passed away at three and a half years old from suspected lung cancer, and diagnosed pneumonia. There were so many characteristics that made her uniquely “her” from her little tongue blep to her intense and bright green eyes. She impacted and inspired everyone that heard her story, and will continue to do so. As the founder of this cat rescue, it is my hope that through Marci’s legacy, we will save the lives of those that are considered “not adoptable” and give them all beautiful and happy lives by finding them their perfect forever homes. We must be the voice for the voiceless.
Love for Misfit Meeps is recognized as a not-for-profit cat rescue in New York State. Alanna has the dream of saving cats from Verona Street Animal Shelter in Downtown Rochester that are disabled or special needs, those that have been at the shelter for a long duration and those that are next in line for euthanasia.
Marci’s ability to inspire and legacy will continue with every single life we save.
