How has Gemma not received a single application?

✨Introducing new kittens for adoption! ✨

These three cuties were found downtown Rochester, just a few days old and clinging to life. Their dedicated mama stayed by their side. (We still have mama who is getting fixed early September!)
They all have appointments to be fixed late August but are ready for their forever homes now!!
🐱About the kittens!
Max and Zoe are twin brother and sister tuxedo babies! They have the cutest faces.
Zoe is the sweetest little girl. She is very affectionate and loves to be held and to cuddle, purring the whole time!
Max is a bit shy and cautious with people at first, but opens up once he’s comfortable. He’s enjoying being held more and more. Max is very curious and loves playing with the other kittens.
Gus is a very handsome boy! He is still a little bit timid, but is becoming braver with people each day. Gus is very playful and loves running around with the other kittens.
❣️We still have our bonded pair Munchkin and Tiny available for adoption as well! ❣️

Just missing my Marci Meep particularly today and wanted to share her photos so you can all love her with me.
Thank you for helping me share her legacy and all that unconditional love in every single life we save. We have saved over 700 cats in her name.
I love you MarciMeep. My best friend, copilot, and now guardian Angel. Until we meet again. 🌈 There’s not a single day I don’t wish you were still with me. 🤟

Matt gave us a miracle a few years ago and adopted our bonded TRIO!!! So many people said it wouldn’t be possible, and then he came, and gave them the best home EVER. (Their names were Aria, Sylvia and Lucina if you remember me posting about them.)

❣️ Unfortunately one of our fosters who specializes in semi feral/feral kitties is experiencing a life issue in which four of our semi feral cats are being returned to us. Gemma DESERVES a loving home before it is filled with chaos in my foster room 💔
This one year old Gem is just the girl you’ve been waiting for!!!! She is affectionate and so sweet. She loves bopping noses with you and giving face kisses.
Since being spayed she has perfect etiquette with the other kitties. She is very playful, and loves running around with the zoomies.
She was badly abused prior to rescue and had something tied tightly around her tail. You can still feel permanent fur damage but despite this she is sweet as could be, doesn’t mind her tail being touched and absolutely adores being pet all over, even in her belly!!
I wish I could foster fail and keep her!! She would be a perfect additional for any household or family. She is good with children, and she is content being independent as well!

“Hi my name’s Sunny and I was rescued from a life alone outdoors and scared by this awesome cat rescue! I was not nice at first because I didn’t know humans and love. They took me in gave me food and a warm place to live. They showed me love and affection. They took me to the Vet and made sure I had all the things I needed to stay healthy. Then one day I found my forever home, my people love me and I am quite snuggly. I am so happy now! Please help this great rescue by donating food, litter, toys or perhaps money to help pay for vet bills. My person and I try to help when we can. I want more Kitties like me to find love and care. Please help this wonderful rescue❤️❤️❤️”

Man! Nothing like realizing you have ONE BAG of litter left, and you emptied ALL off the boxes you have in your house to get everything super cleaned. 😅 So then you order 5 emergency things of litter at 12 AM! 😵 This cost $100 and won’t even last me a week!
I know I ask for a lot of supplies for these kitties but…
We are in desperate need of ❣️ tidy cats non clumping litter, and ❣️ tidy cats lightweight litter.
We only have one more bag of dry food, so we are in desperate need of ❣️purina one tender selects and ❣️blue buffalo chicken and rice.
We are good on adult canned food at the moment but could use ❣️ purina kitten canned food.

These three cuties are available for adoption individually. They will be in my salon lobby for a few hours while we are open for our cat day grooming.
Pre-approval for adoption is not necessary, BUT, we operate by the order in which applications are submitted!

“He is full blown orange cat. He is full of personality and chaos. He plays alllll day long and he went from being an outdoor cat (stealing our family pack of chicken off the counter) to a a very well behaved boy. He loves to play with his sister and loves to make biscuits on the hardwoods haha I love him so much I truly could not have asked for a better cat 🤍”

Love for Misfit Meeps
This story starts with a beautiful handicapped kitty named MarciMeep. She was found in a garbage can at just three weeks old. Marceline was born with a unique brain condition, a form of cerebral hypoplasia, that caused her paralysis although she had feeling all over her body. She was able to move her neck, head, back legs slightly and her tail. She loved meowing, eating, and above all, giving and receiving love. Alanna received a call about her and immediately went to pick her up, while her condition was completely unknown at this time. The two were bonded upon first look.
Alanna took her to many vets to asses her condition and ensure quality of life. Most vets suggested euthanasia at just three weeks old as “her life would be nothing but gradual suffering” and was given a life expectancy of no more than six months. Alanna took her to Cornell Veterinary Hospital and was assured that Marci was not in any pain and with proper care could live a very comfortable life, although projected to be shorter than most other cats. Throughout the duration of Marci’s life she needed constant care, and precise attention to her needs and wants. Alanna owns her own grooming business (Furry Paws Pet Salon in Spencerport, NY) so she was able to bring her to work every day with her. Her routines included assisted feedings of canned food and water, lots of bath clean ups after going to the bathroom (she did have control of this), and most importantly constant love, snuggles and kisses. Alanna provided her with one on one attention all day, every single day, because that is exactly what Marci deserved as all special needs animals deserve. They all deserve to be given a chance, regardless of the severity of their condition, as long as they are not in pain or suffering.
Marci absolutely loved her life, and she exuded it to everyone that had the privilege of meeting her. She passed away at three and a half years old from suspected lung cancer, and diagnosed pneumonia. There were so many characteristics that made her uniquely “her” from her little tongue blep to her intense and bright green eyes. She impacted and inspired everyone that heard her story, and will continue to do so. As the founder of this cat rescue, it is my hope that through Marci’s legacy, we will save the lives of those that are considered “not adoptable” and give them all beautiful and happy lives by finding them their perfect forever homes. We must be the voice for the voiceless.
Love for Misfit Meeps is recognized as a not-for-profit cat rescue in New York State. Alanna has the dream of saving cats from Verona Street Animal Shelter in Downtown Rochester that are disabled or special needs, those that have been at the shelter for a long duration and those that are next in line for euthanasia.
Marci’s ability to inspire and legacy will continue with every single life we save.
