Welcome our newest Meep-Tangerine or Tangy!
This tiny baby was found all by himself with no story but suffering in his eyes. Just weeks away from starving to death, a group effort made his rescue possible. He’s been in our care since October 14th, after a fellow rescuer asked if we had space for him. He was caught that day as soon as we said we would take him in. His first night with us I was worried he wasn’t going to make it. He was so weak and tired but he has fought hard. This is the power of love, nutrition and vetting!
We are totally smitten with him!!! He is perfect in every way. He hasn’t stopped making biscuits since he gained his strength and energy. He was so malnourished he was an 11 week old kitten in a 7 week old kitten body. He was loaded with fleas and worms. We are so grateful his combo test came back negative!! He will know nothing but unconditional love and endless food for the rest of his days.
Thank you for being so strong handsome man!!!! You are so special. Once he is healthy and deemed fit for adoption we will find him the very best home. These photos are over the last week. 🤟🥰😍 What a difference!!!!

Welcome our newest Meep-Cheeto!
This sweet man was found at a colony we helped TNVR years ago of over 80 cats and kittens. We keep in contact to ensure stragglers don’t come in and repopulate while taking advantage of the shelters and food.
This handsome man was seeking refuge with them and we put him on our wait list. As soon as I had an open cage I reached out and they brought him over to us the same day.
He is vomiting ad having diarrhea, lots of worms being expelled. We found 5 enormous ticks around his neck and face.
His little paws are so dirty. He is just a little shy but as sweet as could be. Luckily he is combo tested negative and being treated for an upper respiratory infection as we got him right in to our vet.
Better days ahead!! 🤟😍
The struggle is real for these cats outside…and this was a kitty that had found a food source and out door shelter. I can’t imagine those who have nothing. 💔

🌟 NEW KITTY READY FOR ADOPTION🌟

Meet Rocco!!

This sweet boy is as gentle and loving as they come. He is a little over 2 years old.
He was surrendered to us after previously having a family for almost two years. 💔
He squeaks and makes tiny little whines. He absolutely loves being scratched on the head and on his belly and he will gladly roll over for rubs.
He is on the shy side but so very friendly. He loves people and attention.
He would do well in a quieter home without young children. He does great with all of the other foster kitties.
We just got all of his vetting and vaccines updated!

💝 All of our kitties come fully vetted and health screened including, fixed, vaccines up to date, dewormed and flea treated, as well as combo tested!

Adoption fee for Rocco is $145.

✨Adopt Cal! ✨
Updated bio!
ADOPTION FEE SPONSORED BY KAYLA S!! She saved up $145 of her ALLOWANCE and gave it to us to ensure he found a good home!!

🌟 Want to hear his story? 💫
Cal was dumped outside after his “owners” moved away, We believed he was thrown out because he is so clingy with humans, and just wants love. Being so friendly, he quickly became a neighborhood favorite. A gentle soul like this would not last a winter outside struggling to survive on his own.

🐱About Cal!
He is around 1 and a half years old, and a L A R G E lanky boy. Cal is the sweetest, most laid back cat with humans. Nothing bothers him. He is content with sitting next to you during movie night or following you around the house while you do chores. He does well with children! He is doing very well with all of our foster cats since being neutered. He can be an alpha kitty, but is easily distracted with food or catnip! He will roll on the floor with cat nip for hours. He is very needy, and wants all of the attention you have and then some.

💝 All of our kitties come fully vetted and health screened including, fixed, vaccines up to date, dewormed and flea treated, as well as combo tested!

Adoption fee for Cal is SPONSORED.

🐱 NEW BONDED PAIR OF KITTENS READY FOR ADOPTION 🐱

Please meet Kiki and Gigi, sister and brother duo, that are INSEPARABLE.

Gigi and Kiki are shy at first and may hide a bit during their meet and greet but they very quickly come out of their shell. They will need a closed off room to start but will absolutely show you how loving they are quickly. Gigi, (boy) is faster to warm up and will follow me around like a dog. Kiki, loves to sit with you on the couch and be pet. They are always looking to cuddle on the couch with you, play with one another, or be under your feet curious as to what you are doing. They absolutely love attention. Gigi loves to talk to you and meow. Kiki loves to pop out of crinkle tunnels at her brother.
Food is their bessssssst friend! They are so bonded even if you give them two dishes they will eat from the same one.
They are about 8 months old and complete love bugs. Gigi is neutered, and Kiki is getting spayed 11/4.

Fee for the pair is $200 simply because we just want them to be together forever, in the best home.

💝 All of our kitties come fully vetted and health screened including, fixed, vaccines up to date, dewormed and flea treated, as well as combo tested!

Thank you so much to Helena and her family for adopting one of our sweet little kittens and giving them a chance at the happiest life! 🐱 We couldn’t do it without our adopters!!

“Here are some pictures of Gemelli (her name is now arya; and she has adjusted so fast and already responds to her new name) She loves cuddling with us and playing with her sister, Juno. Our 2 year old orange tabby is taking a little bit to adjust to her but i’m sure they’ll be quick buddies!”

Love for Misfit Meeps

This story starts with a beautiful handicapped kitty named MarciMeep. She was found in a garbage can at just three weeks old. Marceline was born with a unique brain condition, a form of cerebral hypoplasia, that caused her paralysis although she had feeling all over her body. She was able to move her neck, head, back legs slightly and her tail. She loved meowing, eating, and above all, giving and receiving love. Alanna received a call about her and immediately went to pick her up, while her condition was completely unknown at this time. The two were bonded upon first look.

Alanna took her to many vets to asses her condition and ensure quality of life. Most vets suggested euthanasia at just three weeks old as “her life would be nothing but gradual suffering” and was given a life expectancy of no more than six months. Alanna took her to Cornell Veterinary Hospital and was assured that Marci was not in any pain and with proper care could live a very comfortable life, although projected to be shorter than most other cats. Throughout the duration of Marci’s life she needed constant care, and precise attention to her needs and wants. Alanna owns her own grooming business (Furry Paws Pet Salon in Spencerport, NY) so she was able to bring her to work every day with her. Her routines included assisted feedings of canned food and water, lots of bath clean ups after going to the bathroom (she did have control of this), and most importantly constant love, snuggles and kisses. Alanna provided her with one on one attention all day, every single day, because that is exactly what Marci deserved as all special needs animals deserve. They all deserve to be given a chance, regardless of the severity of their condition, as long as they are not in pain or suffering.

Marci absolutely loved her life, and she exuded it to everyone that had the privilege of meeting her. She passed away at three and a half years old from suspected lung cancer, and diagnosed pneumonia. There were so many characteristics that made her uniquely “her” from her little tongue blep to her intense and bright green eyes. She impacted and inspired everyone that heard her story, and will continue to do so. As the founder of this cat rescue, it is my hope that through Marci’s legacy, we will save the lives of those that are considered “not adoptable” and give them all beautiful and happy lives by finding them their perfect forever homes. We must be the voice for the voiceless.

Love for Misfit Meeps is recognized as a not-for-profit cat rescue in New York State. Alanna has the dream of saving cats from Verona Street Animal Shelter in Downtown Rochester that are disabled or special needs, those that have been at the shelter for a long duration and those that are next in line for euthanasia.
