Not going to toot our own horns, but we sure do make some awesome dogs.

Gator is from our 2023 SRSAC GRHRCH Dre MH NDL QA2 x HRCH Roux MH breeding. He is 10 months old.

Just living in some of our highlights from 2023…

First of all, we couldn’t have done anything without our great clients. We owe the world to you and are so appreciative of each and every one of you.

We trained a good amount of really nice duck dogs.

And we stepped to the line with 12 different dogs.

And had 2 of our personal dogs up with another trainer focusing on bigger trials we don’t have enough time to run after focusing on our other client dogs).

Roux got her Master & Finished titles.
Texas got her Master title and additional Master passes qualifying her for Master National.
Texas got a Qualifying 3rd.
Woody got his Master title.
Poppy got her Senior & Finished title.
Poppy got her first Master pass.
Raven got her Senior & Finished title.
Raven got her first 2 Master passes.
Raven got a Reserve Jam in a Qualifying.
Macaroni went 5/6 in Finished (needs 1 more for title).
Dallas went 4/4 in Finished (needs 2 more for title).
Reed went 3/4 in Started & 3/3 in Junior.
Raven (2) went 2/2 in Started.
Scooter went 2/2 in Started.
Slider went 4/4 in Seasoned & 3/3 in Senior.
Slider got his Seasoned title.
Scout went 3/3 in Seasoned & 3/3 in Senior.
Scout got her Seasoned title.
Cajun got his first Master pass.
Cajun got a Qualifying 4th.
Briar got her Started title.
Briar got 2 Junior passes.
Duke got his Started title.

And then ran by “big dog guys”…
Texas passed the Fall HrC Grand.
Texas passed Master National.
Texas got an SRS placement.
Texas ran as SRS test dog at the Crown Championship.
Texas got 2 Qualifying placements.
Texas got her QAA title.
Cajun finished 2 Derbies.
Cajun got several Qualifying placements.

2023 was good for Dallas…

She went 4/4 in Finished.

Unfortunately she came in heat and missed out of other tests.

But we plan on completing her Finished & Master titles in 2024.

Roni used 2023 to kickoff her hunt test career…

She went 5/6 in Finished tests and only needs 1 more for her TITLE.

2024 we will kick off and try at some Master tests and keep forming her for her future of SRS & Qualifyings.

We are offering Woody UP FOR STUD!

Woody is an amazing dog both at the line and in the duck blind. A true pleasure to be around.

He received his Finished title by 24 months old. And received 3 Master passes when he could sneak away from hunting (our hunt test season is during hunting season).

Woody is QUIET & naturally a very steady dog.

During hunting season this past year, he went on a hunting trip out west and picked up 116 birds in 3 days for a large group in freezing waters.

He is on the smaller side, weighing in at 55 lbs. .

And he is very laid back. Making him a pleasure to have around in his he kennel and the house.

Working on Inline marking with the young dogs yesterday

I would always be skeptical at kennels whose airing yard has no dirt from being ran down by dogs… we laid sod 6 months ago and the dogs have already killed it all. But T least we know they are happy.

Poppy is an odd dog… waiting for a rebird on the honor bucket and all she can think about is some belly rubs.

Why is starting off your puppy early so important? This is why! While most seven month old pups coming to the kennel with no obedience, never been introduced to birds, guns, or Bird Boys. Here is Cooter, who’s been with us since day one , running one of my senior level marks today. She is study to shot, marking pretty complicated throws, picking up live and dead birds and almost completed force fetch. In a couple weeks she will start her T pattern.

Looking for your next competition pup? We are taking names for our upcoming 2024 breedings. We expect some HIGH QUALITY pups with strong drive, easy trainability and superb marking abilities. Both litters are expected to be all Yellow/Fox Reds. (Video posted is of a pup off of HRCH Roux MH)

Who doesn’t love a baby? Featured in the video is baby Dallas at 10 weeks old during a pheasant tower shoot. She’s always had a strong bird instinct. Dallas will be campaigning for her Finished & Master title this winter. And we plan on breeding her in the spring. Out of 15 dogs, only 1 is smart enough to take advantage of the sprinkler watering the new sod to cool herself down.

Today was an absolute scorcher… after our training session, EVERYONE got to swim.
