Get ready to Taste the Beaches! The Town of Chesapeake Beach will be sponsoring tastings from local restaurants and fresh shucked oysters from Abner's Crab House while supplies last. Food, beer, wine and deserts will also be available for purchase. The festival styled event offers music, children's activities to include the interactive and educational Phillips Wharf Environmental Center Fishmobile and shopping from local vendors.

A little fun fact to start your Saturday morning-

You may notice that when the treats have colored frosting, the hue is muted. That’s because instead of using food coloring, I use pet safe natural coloring powder.

This weekend doggie donuts are red and blue for the 4th of July holiday. So I thought you might like to know how.

The red gets its color from beets!

The blue from red cabbage and purple carrots!
