I’ve been asked why do I have kiddie pools inside the pond.
It is easier for me to do it this way during the winter in the ice and frozen temps.
Last year my UV light froze and busted.
It was a mess that I didn’t want to deal with again this year.
Plus rats chewed holes into the liner so I’ll replace the liner and get the pond going again soon.
I miss walking out the back door and listening to the soothing sound of the waterfall.

My call ducks have been laying for the past little bit but this morning I found my first silkie call duck egg of the year.
It had froze and busted before I found it 😢
These temps are so crazy.

It’s been a very busy day. Catching ducks for shipping. I’ve been forgetting to take pics but who needs to see all of the boxes lined up? Lol.
I’ve messaged each one with tracking info so y’all can track your babies as I will being doing myself.
I’m a nervous wreck until I know they’ve been picked up and are good.

I’m in Arkansas and it stays warmer than other places. Due to the cold front that’s coming, today was pen wrapping day. Im@so glad to have that out of the way. I love to listen to them as they dabble through the straw.
