Crimson Exotics Reptile Rescue is back from winter break! 🦎🌞

Due to cold weather, we were unable to ship reptiles for several months. Now that it’s warming up across the US, Crimson Exotics is ready to accept rehoming applications once again.

❄️ Winter Break Announcement ❄️

We’re excited to share that all available animals have been adopted! This comes just in time for our yearly no-shipping period due to winter weather across the United States.

This year, Crimson Exotics will be taking a winter break until mid-February to allow our volunteers to prepare for the increase in rehoming requests that we receive each spring. During our winter break, we will not be accepting rehoming requests from the public.

Meet Kinsley! 🐍 This gorgeous girl is an 8-year-old California kingsnake who was recently rehomed to Crimson Exotics Reptile Rescue after her previous owner couldn't keep her.

Kinsley has an interesting personality. She doesn't enjoy being picked up, but she calms down right away once she's in your hands. Our Kansas foster is working with her to ensure she is completely comfortable with people. She's settling in well and will have her first meal with us soon.

🐍 Kinsley the California kingsnake will be available for adoption (to an adopter within the US) once she completes her quarantine period, shows that she's a great eater, and is fully comfortable being handled. Follow us to find out when she becomes available! 🐍

Cliff the bearded dragon has been adopted! 🎉 He left Kansas on Tuesday night and arrived at his new home in Tennessee on Wednesday morning.

Introducing Coconut the leopard gecko! 🥥🦎

Coconut came to Crimson Exotics along with Guava, who we introduced a few days ago. She's an adorable juvenile leopard gecko! Her previous owner had a life change which meant she couldn't keep her reptiles, so she asked us to help them find great homes. Coconut will stay at our Kansas foster home until she finishes quarantine and is adopted. She likes to explore her enclosure, especially at night!

Coconut will be available for adoption once she finishes quarantine. We're excited to find her an awesome adoptive home! 😊🥥

Introducing Guava the leopard gecko! ❤🦎

Guava was recently rehomed to Crimson Exotics and will stay with our North Carolina foster until she is adopted. She is an adventurous leopard gecko who loves to climb. The only thing she loves more than exploring is eating. She is a voracious little eater! While a little shy, she is curious and will come out when you talk to her.

This sweet gecko will be available for adoption after the end of her quarantine period. We can't wait to see her thrive in a great forever home! 😊

Meet Cliff the bearded dragon! 🦎

Cliff is a one-year-old bearded dragon who was rehomed to Crimson Exotics earlier this month. His owner wasn't able to provide for him anymore, so she entrusted us with finding him a great new home.

Cliff came to us mid-shed with some super long nails! 💅 We've given him a lizard pedicure since these photos were taken. He is nearly done shedding. He's a sizeable bearded dragon, especially for only one year of age. We're transitioning Cliff to a better-balanced diet and ensuring plenty of exercise so that he stays healthy for years to come!

Cliff will be with our Kansas foster until he finds a new home. He'll be available for adoption after he completes his quarantine period. Follow along to stay up to date on Cliff! ❤🦎

Briggs is settling in well at our Minnesota foster home, where he'll stay until he's ready for adoption. It's been almost a year since Venus went to her forever home, and we have an update to share! ❤️🦎

Venus' adopter says, "Can't believe come May, and it will have been a year since I adopted Venus from Crimson Exotics Reptile Rescue. She's such a joy to own and super friendly. I'd watch her all day if I could."

Meet (and learn about) Blossom the leopard gecko! 🦎❤️

Blossom is a female leopard gecko that was rehomed to Crimson Exotics in January. When she arrived to our New Jersey foster, she had severe swelling of the eyes and was malnourished.

With loving care from her foster, medication for her eyes, and a prescription diet, Blossom is doing much better—especially for only having been with us for a month!

We're excited to keep watching Blossom get better. Hopefully, she'll be available for adoption once she makes a full recovery. Thank you, Bella, our New Jersey foster, for taking such great care of Blossom!

Rocky is a beautiful adult male bearded dragon and a two-time guest at Crimson Exotics. He initially lived in Florida, before being adopted by someone in Missouri. That home didn't work out, so Rocky is back at Crimson Exotics with our Kansas foster. He's an awesome leatherback-morph bearded dragon! Rocky is a great eater, who seems to always be ready to eat. He loves to explore but loves to nap just as much. Since Rocky is a few years old, he is a calm bearded dragon. We are excited to help Rocky find the perfect home, and hope you'll apply to adopt him! ❤️
