Hi everyone! The holiday season is officially upon us and spots are filling up quick! I’ve gotten a lot of you in for your Nov/Dec appointments already, and I have very limited openings left between now and Christmas. If anyone is unable to get in with me before I go on maternity leave, or if you want to start making your appointments for while I’m out, here are my recommendations! Everyone listed is wonderful and people I would trust with my own pups. Some do have restrictions, so make sure you reach out to see if they’d be a good fit.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!!!!!

As some of you may know, I am currently pregnant with my first! It’s all very new and exciting, but also can be challenging as I adapt to how my body is changing. So far everything is going great, and as long as everything continues smoothly, I plan on grooming through the holidays.
I have already stopped accepting new clients and in the next couple months I will have to start referring out my larger and more difficult pups. I have no intentions of referring out my ‘just bath’ dogs or my well behaved littles until I take maternity leave. I have several amazing groomers, both in home and that have shops, that I will be recommending everyone to. These are all people that I would trust with my own pups.
Everyone’s patience is greatly appreciated, every day is something new and sometimes I need to reschedule due to doctor’s appointments or if I’m sore or tired or not feeling well. My number one priority is the health of myself and baby, and I hope that everyone understands this.
I am expecting to stop working around the new year, and this time I do not have a set return date. I will keep everyone updated with my plans as I settle into mom mode and slowly adjust to all the craziness that comes along with that.

Hey everyone! Just a quick update-
I’ve been so busy the last few months prepping for my wedding. It was wonderful, and I’m just enjoying a little time off now. I know I haven’t been very responsive, but I will be back to work on 2/8. I will reply and book everyone in the order they got in touch with me. Thank you for your patience, can’t wait to see all the pups again soon!

***EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY***

I am implementing new restrictions.

- NO dogs over 40lbs
- NO dogs with behavioral issues
- MUST have a kitchen sink/utility sink large enough to bathe in
OR
- MUST have a bath/shower where I can set up a small portable standing tub
- MUST have space on first floor for me to set up my grooming table

**ALL CLIENTS WILL BE REQUIRED TO PREBOOK APPOINTMENTS**

Grooming is very taxing on the body, and I would like to be able to continue working for as long as I possibly can. I am going to be more selective with my future clients, so that I can enjoy grooming for many, many years.

Putting these restrictions in place will drastically limit the amount of new clients I can take on.

For now, CURRENT CLIENTS WILL BE GRANDFATHER IN.

Unfortunately, if you add a new pup to your home that doesn’t meet these new requirements, I will not be able to accommodate them.

UPDATE:: HOME!!!!!!!
He was found about a block away safe and happy!! He’s now back with me ☺️

This is my tortoise. He got out Monday. If everyone could share this, that’s would be so helpful. I’m so devastated, but hopeful for his return.

Hey my tortoise got out (2nd time in a few days) I’ve have him 13 years and he’s NEVER made a break for it until now. I’m near beach and Fonda. Cheektowaga. Please keep an eye out for him. He’s super friendly and loves dandelions.

I know we just went through the storm of a lifetime here in Buffalo, so I’d like to take this moment to reflect on everything we have to be grateful for. All of my wonderful clients have been so understanding with having to reschedule appointments, not just because of the storm, but also because of a loss my family has recently experienced.

If any of you are struggling after this blizzard, please do not hesitate to reach out. I know a lot of you lost power for an extended period time, are just now finally able to open your doors, and/or had burst pipes flood your home. I may not have much to offer, but if you’re forced to decide between fixing you furnace or getting your pup groomed, I will help.

For my clients facing extreme hardship I am extending a “pay what you can” offer for the month of January. You must be an existing client. All I ask is that you let me know ahead of time what your situation is, how much you can afford, and to please not abuse this offer.

I have been able to resume business as usual, with normal winter restrictions in place. My car is low to the ground and easily gets stuck, so as always I ask for a clear place to park and a path to the door. 🙂

While the photo is super cute and funny, please be careful at home if you have a fenced yard. Several local dogs have gotten over fences by climbing over the high or drifted snow!
