Middle Georgia Mushroom Cultivating fresh gourmet and medicinal mushrooms for our Friends 🍄

We miss y’all.

It was a huge decision to slow down farming operations and pursue education to expand our knowledge in the agricultural business field.

Since we’ve been gone, Hunter has completed two years in the Agribusiness program at UGA with just over one year left. The program has been great for increasing our knowledge in agricultural logistics and the administrative side of the farm. We all know he rather just grow, but farm life does require administrative work to maintain sustainability and production. Keep him in your thoughts as he pushes through this last year.

In other news, during spring break we were able to pump out a few grow kits for you all. We have colonized blocks of Lion’s Mane and Blue Oyster ready to ship or for local pickup. Growing fresh has been on standby for the time being.

Shoot us a message if you’d like to grow some fresh mushies and support Hunter’s journey at Georgia. We will take care of you.

Come join us for a night of DJs, lasers, projections, live arts, crafts vendors, and mushroom education. Southern Bounce is bringing together a collection of local DJs, artist, and vendors for this DJ and mushroom minded mini-fest. Middle Georgia Mushrooms will be offering an Intro to mycology education workshop to open the space and then DJ’s will hit the stage offering up the best in bass, beats, and dance music.

A walk in the woods Walk kids through some of the most common paths in the woods to help them orient if they get lost. We will walk up to the sweat lodge and explain the sweat and have the kids do a ceremony near the lodge of sorts. Collect pine cones for bird feeders (Bird feeders will be made 3:15...

Hello Friends,

Traveling throughout our world and experiencing other cultures can reveal the unimaginable. Day-to-day things; such as, morning routine, medicines, and my goodness the food. As society is becoming more health/environmentally conscious, we are finding efficient alternatives to keep ourselves and our planet healthy. The efficiency of mushroom cultivation is mind-blowing and when you combine efficiency with medicinal, nutritional, and cognitive benefits... I was hooked.

My goal is to provide that same opportunity to Middle Georgia by delivering always fresh, gourmet mushrooms to our local farmers markets and restaurants.
