First group weaned today. The moms: "Ok". 😅
Four-year-old baby Meatball, and her trainer, having a lesson with Candice King today. So much positive feedback on this little mare...we're all really excited about this one! 🤞🙏
Meatball is actually Unprecedented HH (Untouchable 27/Caresino/Corrado I) 😁
The joy and excitement of being released into a new pasture 😁

It's taken a while for Lucky Sevens HH (Calido/Indoctro) to mature, both physically and mentally, but this sweet girl is headed in the right direction. She was also dealt a rough hand with a case of Lyme disease that really physically affected her, and a prolonged treatment and recovery period. But she's been back under saddle for a few months now and is really coming along! So many thanks to Alex McCool for her patience and kindness in getting this girl going again.
He's working on perfecting his victory gallop already 😂
The last foal of the year for us! Another beautiful Urano de Cartigny colt for Hy Hopes HH. Born at 4:53 this morning, and at 10 minutes old he thinks he's trying to go somewhere 😂
He will need a "Z" name. Zoomies HH would be the logical choice 😂
*Please note that is a recipient mare with him, not his biological momma.
I cannot tell you how excited I am about this four-year-old filly! She just went on her first official outing, to a schooling show, and I saw a lot of things I really, really liked! Baby Meatball is growing up (maybe I should stop calling her that, but I think it has stuck 😀)!
Thanks so much to Taryn Pearce for doing all the hard work, from the groundwork, to the backing, to now. I get to just be the owner 😊.
Real name: Unprecedented HH (Untouchable 27/Caresino/Corrado I).
A late night Zirocco Blue/Indoctro colt, at day 339! Thankful for good recipient mare mommas ❤️. Congratulations to his owner, who reserved this boy in-utero!
When the yearlings come back to the main barn for some civilizing and it's so much drama...
Lelarnike HH (Le Blue Diamond van't Ruytershof X Darnike, v. Indorado)
At 3:31 this morning this big Iceman de Muze/Calido/Indoctro filly joined us, and popped right up on those long legs!
Day 346: welcome baby girl Carinjo/Cardento/Polydor ❤️
This filly was born galloping and that's all she wanted to do on her first day out yesterday 😁🩷
Emerald/Caresino/Corrado I/Ramiro
I did not know if I'd end up with a live mare or foal from this situation. But last night at 11:08 pm, on day 329, we got to meet this Emerald/Kannan/For Feeling colt 💙.
My poor, sweet recipient mare had colic surgery when she was seven months in foal. She had a complicated situation and was hospitalized for some time. Then after being home for 10 days, she ended up hospitaled again. This time due to the incision starting to open up, because of a bacterial infection that turned out to be resistant to almost all antibiotics. But after months of hand-walking, bandage changes, wound care, belly wraps, modified diet, etc, they're both here and doing well this morning (🤞🤞🤞).
We're calling this little guy Hayden, in honor of Dr. Lyndsey Hayden, the surgeon who kept his momma alive. We're so thankful.
"Making mom chase me is the most fun" 🐎🐎
Welcome, little girl! The first foal of the year 😁.
Clear Heart/Contefino/Cantour, and she's strong and feisty already 🖤
It's frigid, but some of us are still having fun!
Getting excited about foaling season! Expecting a foal from this very promising young stallion in early February. I have a good feeling about this one 🤞
Nothing better than a new pasture to explore!
