Happy National Pug Day!!!

My mom took me to Lowe's yesterday. We got daffodil and tulip bulbs. They look like they would be yummy, but my mom said I can't eat them, and she's going to plant them outside the fence so I can't get them.
We also visited with Dave and Jill King, and also Jim, Norma and Anne Corliss. I had fun, and was very tired, but got my mom up at 4 AM. She said she wanted to sleep in.

Friday night my mom took me to a place where she works making Christmas wreaths. It was all new to me since I had no idea what a wreath is, or what Christmas is.
I had fun and watched my mom and aunt Barbara and Amanda Meek, make wreaths to enter in the Fryeburg fair. I really like Piper Mountain Christmas tree farm, which is good, because I will be the 'spoiled rotten pug in residence' starting this year. The position was previously held by mom's pug, Stella, who passed away this spring.

I just got back from a camping trip with my mom and Mazey. We went to an Airbnb on Toddy Pond in Penobscot, Maine.
There were just the three of us on Saturday night, but my Aunt Barbara joined us on Sunday and then my mom's friend Jill came with her dog Pilot for a while.
We all went kayaking and swimming and then played at the campsite while the humans talked and built a campfire.
I had a great time, but I am sooo tired....it's time for a nap!

Hello there! I thought it was time to update everyone on what I've been doing.
First I've been doing lots of eating, sleeping and playing. Those are 3 of my favorite things.
I met a really nice girl named Delaney, and I even got to spend the night at her house! It was so much fun!
Then, I went to the vets for some vaccine boosters, and they said I'm getting really big. My mom says I'm growing like a w**d. I weighed 8 pounds and 2 ounces!
Then yesterday, I got to meet my cousin Pugsley who is here from Connecticut on vacation.
I was scared at first, but we had fun together!
I can't wait to see him again!
My mom says we are going to go on vacation in a few days. I don't know what that means, but it sounds fun!

This week I learned about camping, which is apparently going outside and sleeping out there overnight!
Lots of new sounds and smells. I was a little scared, but my mom said everything was ok. I like her....
I also got to meet Mazey and Buck. They are Labrador retrievers. Mazey is fun to play with even though she is a giant. Buck just looks at me.
I also met Morgan but not face to face. She's old.
At the end of the week I got to go for a ride, we went to a place called Acadia National Park, and I saw the ocean. It smells funny!
I also had my first dental chew. My mom says my breath is minty fresh!

I've had a pretty busy week for a little guy!
First, let me say that I have some really big (and kind of scary) new pack mates, Morgan, Mazey and Buck. They are Labrador retrievers. I don't know what that means, but I think I'll like them.
My new humans are being very careful about introducing me to them, because they are afraid I might be accidentally hurt.
I play with them through the gap under the bedroom door. They might be big, but I'm not scared!
I've got a ton of new toys, and even got a bone....it was delicious!
I have learned a lot this week, mostly things that I shouldn't do.....like biting people, chewing on blankets and pillow cases, and chewing/ pulling my mom's hair.
They say this is my forever home, and I sure hope so, because it's a lot of fun!!!

On Monday I went to work with my new mom, we checked out the Brewer Maine Riverwalk, where I saw some beautiful flowers, and then I went to see the vet, who said I was perfect......I knew that!!! I weighed 5.5 pounds.

We headed off to Mt Washington, the highest peak in the northeastern US. I heard that it's known for it's erratic weather. It was a lot colder and windier than it was when we started. We also checked out the gift shop when we got back down.

I took another nap while we continued on our way to Weeks State Park, which my mom said she had read was the prettiest park in NH!

Next we stopped by the Mount Orne Covered Bridge. I napped in my new mom's lap while my new Aunt drove.

Our next stop was the Mechanic St Covered Bridge in my hometown.

We spent my first night away from my birth home at Cabot Inn and Suites, in Lancaster, NH. They have a great view!

When my new mom and new Aunt picked me up we set off on my first adventure. We drove to the longest covered bridge in the US. Dummerston Covered Bridge in Dummerston, VT.
