Every day now the pups sit under these trees trying to catch the squirrels. They all get their spot and watch the squirrels in the trees gather nuts. Even when they are inside the house they go to the window overlooking these trees. I will be glad when quail season opens up and I can take them hunting.

Not yet bird season so the pups on the hunt for squirrels. I think the squirrels are just teasing the pups though. They sit under these trees looking up for hours.

Blue decided to jump up in my work truck and got stuck and could not get out.

Took Zeb and Blue to do a little training. Blue started out slow today. Only his second time on birds and he is only 6 months. After about 20 minutes he clicked and was hunting like a seasoned dog. He needs some work holding point and of course bringing me the bird. Overall he did great. Zeb did outstanding as usual. Hard to tell which is Blue and which is Zeb. Blue is going to be bigger than his daddy. Blue has on the green collar and Zeb has the orange collar.

I have never seen begger lice so bad before. Unreal that they got this many in just a few hours. Took me longer to clean them off than spent hunting.

Took the Setters out to hunt quail for the 1st time this year. They did pretty good.
