Schenck Family
Our farm started as a dairy farm in 1987. Holstein cows were milked here until May of 2018. In June we gutted the dairy barn and built horse stalls for our boarding facility and opened our doors in August 2018. We specialize in boarding, training and breeding. Our own horses are Arabians, Half Arabians, Miniature Horses and Shetland Ponies. We stand a National Champion AMHR 34” Stallion, a National Top 10 AMHR 34” Pinto Stallion and a Straight Egyptian Arabian Stallion. All are live cover at this time.
Trainer: Kevin is the third generation of this farm and is a Senior at Cazenovia College in the Equine Business program. He trains horses here at the farm and works the farm including harvesting the crops. He is excellent at starting horses under saddle because of his quiet and confident nature.
Owner: Phillip lives on the farm and is responsible for the care of the animals while boarding here. He also maintains the facility, completes all construction projects as needed and harvests the hay.
Our farm is a family affair and you may also see Phil’s mom, Linda, in the barn helping with chores and chatting with boarders. Kerryanne is Phil’s wife and has taken over as barn manager to help with marketing, PR and boarder questions and concerns. Make an appointment and see our beautiful, quiet and drama free facility.
