Cucumber w**d aka pellitory (Parietaria pensylvanica) is reaching harvestable size! This tasty w**d actually does taste like cucumber, making it great in salads and on sandwiches. Its leaves alternate up the stem and are covered in fine hairs. Most importantly, the edges of the leaves are "entire" meaning NO teeth or serrations. It is important to pay attention to cucumber w**d leaf edges because there is a toxic lookalike (Acalypha genus) that has the same size, shape, and growing environment, but the leaf edge of the Acalypha are serrated.
