The Bernedoodle is a cross between a Bernese mountain dog and a poodle. They were bred solely for companionship, so they love attention and lots of cuddles from their families. Bernedoodles are just as happy curling up on the couch as they are hiking a trail alongside their humans. What you need to know about our BerneDoodles
Our BerneDoodles have the same friendly, loyal, gentle nature as the Be
rnese Mountain Dog combined with the intelligence and the low shedding coat of the poodle. They are the calmest of our doodles and their “go with the flow” attitude makes them a great addition to even the busiest of families. We typically raise standard-size F1 and F1B BerneDoodles weighing upward of 50 lbs, and we occasionally have a litter of minis here and there. These big lovable fur babies make manageable pets without the drooling and shedding that make caring for the Bernese Mountain Dog a high-maintenance job. BerneDoodles are best known for having a tri-color coat and an adorable shaggy teddy bear look that will draw them lots of attention. The combination of the Bernese and the Poodle is then an easygoing dog, gentle with children and the elderly, but there is also a wonderful sense of vibrancy. They are wonderful companion/therapy dogs and thrive on being around people. The curlier the coat, the less your dog will shed. Even if the coat is wavy, it will still be classed as low shedding, especially in comparison to a purebred Bernese. Bernedoodles require regular brushing/grooming to keep their coats in mint condition. To keep this beautiful coat we recommend your Bernedoodle sees a groomer 3-4 times a year. What is an Aussiedoodle
Mini Aussiedoodles (mini Aussiepoos) is a mix of a mini Poodle and a mini Australian Shepherd. Standard Aussiedoodles cross a standard Poodle with a standard-sized Aussie. Mini Aussiedoodles and standard Aussiedoodles are incredibly smart, loyal, and very loving. Also known as Aussiepoos, they are sometimes called Einstein dogs for their smarts and Velcro dogs for their loyalty. Their coats tend to have a beautiful color variety with outstanding texture, curl, and thickness. Why are families falling in love with the Incredible Aussiedoodle Breed? AussieDoodles are non-shedding, generally happy-go-lucky, loyal, affectionate, and usually submissive dogs. They aren’t just a dog; they are another member of your family. The AussieDoodle puppy is incredibly easy to train, and they learn what you want very quickly. One might argue that a poodle or border collie is smarter, but the intelligent, friendly bouncy AussieDoodle dog breed will surprise you. AussieDoodles tend to learn human phrases, such as, “go ahead”, “back up”, and “get in your crate” within the first few weeks. They are incredibly easy to train, will do just about any activity you give them, and with a little effort, they can be trick dogs, agility dogs, therapy or comfort dogs. This mix of a poodle and an Aussie creates a low to no-shed coat, making it one of the best active breeds for families with children of any age. Please Note:
Aussiedoodles are considered to be high-energy dogs and need regular daily exercise to help channel that energy constructively. They need lots of room to run and play daily. Aussiedoodles are not best suited for small apartment settings and may be too active for households with young children (who may feel overwhelmed) or older pet parents who are not able to give them the activity level needed. With good consistent training and the right environment, this breed will become an excellent member of the family.
