Today was bittersweet. In 2015, I was just a gal with a dream of owning her own business. And I want to thank each and every client and pet who made that dream a reality! Before Covid I was doing 125 dog walks a week in addition to pet sitting. I was nominated for an award and came in FIRST place for Best Pet Care in the South Shore ❤️🐾. I am humbled beyond belief that so many of you took a chance on a girl who loved her dog so much that she wanted to do it as a profession. But today was my last day working as a full time dog walker. I am moving into a new career path but do plan on staying in business on an as needed basis part time.

Today was a difficult day, but it wasn’t goodbye. I hope to stay in touch with you all. I will still be available for cat sitting and the occasional dog walk or pet sitting. I still want to hear updates on all my pet friends and get photos on how they are doing. I already miss them 🤗. THANK YOU for allowing me to do what I loved for so many years.

My Story

My name is Lori and I was the mom to the best pug ever. His name was Harley and he was my world. He is also the reason that I went into this profession. I never understood how important having a great, reliable, dogwalker was, until I was in need of one for my own dog several years ago. I have been doing dogwalking for friends and neighbors for years. I left Corporate America after 27 years and started this business in 2015 and never looked back. It was the best decision I’ve ever made. It’s not just about being a dogwalker. There is so much more to this job than I ever expected, and it is extremely rewarding and I love what I do. I will treat your dogs and cats the same way that I’ve always treated my pets, with unconditional love and care. Before I had my pug Harley, I was a cat mom to a mancoon cat named Chloe. I’m pretty sure they are chasing each other in heaven. My family and I now are the proud parents of 2 French Bulldogs, Felix and Oscar. They are brothers from the same litter. They can be manicial, but they make us laugh on a daily basis and we love them so much.

I am very dedicated to my clients and I have never once called in sick in 6 years. On top of my daily dogwalking visits, I also do pet sitting in your home while you are on vacation, or just need a night out with friends or loved ones. I send text message updates after each visit with a few photos of your pet(s), letting you know that they are well taken care of in your absence. I also leave a notebook where I write details of each visit. Since Covid, I have been taking extra sanitary measures with each visit, wearing a mask, using gloves, always having hand sanitizer on hand and in some cases, using my own leashes.
