When we got married we knew we wanted a dog, and about a year into our marriage chose to adopt. We fell in love with Siberian Huskies when we adopted our first from Foothills animal Shelter and named him Night. Night was A LOT of work, but the sweetest most well tempered dog. We realized quickly that huskies can have sensitive tummies, and they require mental and physical work.
About two years after getting Night we decided to look into breeding, and looked into getting as much information as we could to prepare and then got our first female and things continued from there. We have had our bad times as any breeder has from losing pups to losing mom. We always sought out veterinary care when needed and try taking care of our dogs and pups the best we can. Including prenatal care for our pregnant mommas.
We do incorporate Puppy Culture into raising our pups as we believe it sets them up for success in their new homes. Early Neurological stimulation is a part of this and every puppy goes through this from days 3-16. We also try to socialize as much as possible around different people/children/dogs/and our cat.
