Now that Third Winter is over, it’s back to comfort clips for the fuzz balls. Cowboy was a rockstar for his clip. He recently underwent colic surgery & was feeling pretty itchy so hopefully he can stay cool & comfy for this upcoming heat wave.

Donkey probably has a voodoo doll he kicks after I come give him his yearly cushings comfort clip, but the little guy IS improving every year. This time I got down to his pasterns on his fronts, and down to his hocks on his hinds. As usual, he insists that his face has the “went trough a wood chipper” look, but he’s ready for some warm spring weather now!

Winner of the fluffiest horse for 2023 is Dugan, the worlds cutest Fjord ❤️. He had some stiff competition from the Cushings crowd, but ultimately won with the shear volume of hair I clipped off.
