Smokey the Service Dog Smokey is being trained as a PTSD service dog and a therapy dog. His handler is Ty Helphrey. Thank you for joining us on their adventures!

Ty served combat tours in the US Army and is a firefighter at Raytown Fire Protection District.

My hooman sister and I are taking donated Girl Scout cookies to the local military troops, Police, and Firefighters. So far we have 31 boxes of cookies to deliver. Help us deliver some more! So yesterday, cases of coloring books show up at the fire station. Everyone figures it's just coloring books in preparation for fire prevention week this fall. Captain Ferguson goes to put them away and calls for me to come and see. The coloring books are custom made for Raytown Fire starring Smokey and I!!!
I don't know how I deserve such wonderful friends, but thank you Susan Hinkle, Sandra Sindeldecker, and Jason Sindeldecker! The folks at Missouri Patriot Paws apparently put this together and had them made for me and for Raytown Fire. I feel incredibly honored, Thank You!
