There has been some phone calls to the zoo about Christmas Zoo Train being held tonight, November 30th at St Louis Iron Mountain Railway.

This train is sponsored by Safari Animal Encounters and please note that it is sold out! Please read the attached post for more information about tonight's train. NO tickets available or for resale!

Christmas Zoo Train is tonight! If you have tickets to tonight's Christmas Zoo Train - please check in at the train depot at St Louis Iron Mountain Railway in Jackson, Missouri by 5:30 pm. Train will start loading at 5:45 pm and will leave the station promptly at 6:00 pm - don't be late!

Note: The tickets to this train have been sold out for over 2 months. There are no tickets available, no refunds, and no one else can resell tickets to this train. Please do not fall for any of the ticket scams on here or any other sites. Again, NO tickets available for sale or resale for this event!

We have a few openings for Nativity Scenes for November & December. Our camel and pony rides can be added as well as our traveling petting zoo for the guests at your Christmas event to ride, pet, & feed the animals!

With a beautiful weekend forecast ahead, we have decided to open the zoo up Saturday & Sunday from 10-5!

Some of the animals will be put up for the winter. But the vast majority will still be out on display!

We have sadly made the decision to cancel the costume party this Sunday due to the high chance of rain. As of right now the zoo will still remain open for the weekend!

Happy Saturday!!

The zoo is open today from 10-5! With the cooler temps in the evenings we have moved some of our critters inside the gift shop where it’s warmer and our guests can still come see them!
