I'm putting in a pretty big winter food plot in this breeder pen, and now it's ready to plant.

This is a young Afghan Urial that I acquired from Tad Puckett, he's a fine animal too!

The two biggest ewes are out of 50" genetics, black Hawaiian. The other three came out of this herd of ewes, but their daddy was snow urial, so they're 1/4 TCU.

I purchased these ewes from my very good friend of almost 30 years, Rickey Hunt.

I have some snow urial ewes coming in a week or so, that I purchased from Thompson Temple. They're out of Sasquatch, so you know what kind of genetics are there!

By crossing all these ewes with my Afghan Urial breeder ram, my goal is to grow some snow urials, and midnight urials that will be huge in both body AND horn...I'm really excited to see what spring lambing season will bring me in 2021.

The next food plot will be going in my persian ibex breeder pen.

Here are a couple pics I took this morning, of my pure persian Ibex breeder billy.

He's gonna be a big boy in a couple of years, he's already a big bodied animal and I estimate him to be 24" to 26" at just a 2 year old.

He's starting to put on his winter coat, you can see the silver color starting to take over. He's also chasing the girls a lot too, even though it's a bit early for breeing season...he's definitely excited about it. Lol

Well, the new baby ibex today turned out to be a little female. That pleases me very much, she's out of some of the best genetics in this country and I'll be breeding her to an awesome billy when she's old enough.

She wasn't a twin unfortunately, but she's the biggest newborn we've ever had by far.

He definitely has the genetics, 44" plus on both sides...I'm excited to see what he'll become someday.

Lost a female bottle baby Ibex last night, she was very small and frail when she was born. She was eating, and seemed to be doing great, but she only made it about a week. I hate to lose an animal, but sometimes I guess it's just out of our hands.

We have 4 bottle baby ibex as of now, 3 females and 1 male so far. I also have twin billies that are 50% hybrids, but their mother is raising them.

I still have 5 nannies that haven't given us any new babies yet, but hoping to have them all born soon.

Next spring we should have at least twice as many ibex kids as this year, and some midnight urial lambs out of some really great genetics as well!

Well we had our first kids born yesterday for this year. These are little twin hybrid billies, they're 50% Persian ibex. Our pure Persian nannies should be delivering soon, I have 9 females to go, so I'm hoping they all have twins!

We also raise exotic sheep. We've had 4 healthy sets of twins so far, one single lamb, and 2 more ewes that still haven't lambed yet.

I've been highly anticipating the arrival of this years ibex kids too. Sadly enough, one of our young nannies had a stillborn kid yesterday. She aborted it way too early, for what ever unfortunate reason.

I'm sure hoping all the remaining nannies do well when the time comes, we should have some great looking kids this year.

My new breeder Billy, he's only 18 months old and he's already a large bodied billy with great horn length and mass for his age.

He's already starting to turn silver for his winter coat, and I'm excited to see how much he colors up this fall.

He's out of some of the best genetics, and the purest Persian ibex blood on this continent.

I expect some nice kids out of him come spring, and I feel sure he's gonna be a real monster (horn wise) in another 5 years or so.

The one on the left is 1/2 Ibex, and the one on the right is 7/8.
