We found some kittens and I sent out a plea for help. Well thanks to Brittany Elvee who took them and has been fostering them under the Humane Society of Tampa Bay’s foster program. These guys are now ready to find their new families. They are already vetted under the program. The one thing that warms my heart the most is that the mom who has been on the streets for some time turned out to be overly sweet! So somebody dumped her. She’s amazing! My coworkers here to help us work in the office today! Gigi, the pup on the left was the original Rover mascot who rode on the truck with me when there was one truck and me only! She is 16 1/2 years old! I am blessed to have her this long! Karma is our new kid on the block and definitely a troublemaker, but she welcomes the groomers every night when they return from grooming pups in the field. Poms are bossy! But fun!

When we pulled out of Afghanistan, a dog rescue was all set to come home too with all their rescue pups. But “live animals” were not allowed. So all the pups were forced to be released in the airport of Kabul. The lady who ran the rescue decided she could not leave and has continued to help the animals. They are trying to evacuate a plane full of animals but need our help! Consider donating. Some of the dogs released on that tarmac have commitments for new families here! Let’s help them get here!!!

It's Sunday morning here in Kabul, but it's still Saturday on the West Coast, so let's do a final push for Saturday's goal of reaching $450,000 by the end of the day. Do it for Jumper, who was born with us in the fall of 2019, and after being released on the tarmac in the summer of 2021 and found too late to fly to Canada on our first airlift, is finally going to a home of her own in three weeks. We've got the determination and staying power to win the long game here, but we need every moment of your effort to stay on top. Every animal on this plane is a life that matters, and this is their only life. Help us give them this chance that they all deserve so much.

Plans are in place. Over 250 of the 300 dogs and cats have approved homes in the US, but we NEED to reach our goal. News stations are ignoring our efforts, so we must get louder.

📣 Influencers who care about us and our rescues, please help us. In 10 days we either pay our bills or not. The airlift will be cancelled and we are not able to sustain the current 450 animals we have. If you can’t donate, let’s do a collaboration or please share our story. Benji had the best makeover today! We know he feels so much better! Just a reminder to get your pup groomed to avoid matting. If you can see the red spots on the after photo it is where the matts were actually pulling at the skin for months. It does cause irritation to your dog under the matts and hurts the pups. We are so glad we could help him today!
