Put in pet sitting requests asap! We’ve gotten booked up as late as November, and am definitely recommended clients to look early, and we can definitely change dates and work around things that may pop up!
July is relatively booked, with some spots for overnight, and August is open, as well as most of September as well! Message or text now, and we can talk about holding a spot!

Meet the Team!
Hannah Carroll is a petsitter in the greater Richmond area. She has experience with a large variety of animals and enjoys colorful reptiles as much as cuddly kittens. She has an elderly labradoodle who she is obsessed with. She loves all animals and can’t wait to meet yours.
When not hanging out with her dog (or whomever she is petsitting), you can find her sewing something fun. Hannah is a college student graduating this spring from Central Michigan University with honors from the fashion design and merchandising program.

As 2020 finally comes to an end, we want to thank all of our clients for sticking with us! We know the year has been tough and challenging for a lot of people, and we’re glad to have such great patrons!
Going into 2021, we will continue to implement our Covid-19 guidelines, and adjust accordingly as the new year proceeds! We will also offer a virtual meet-and-greet. We strongly recommend an in-person meet-and-greet to get familiar with you and your fur baby!

Pet warning for Thanksgiving!
We love Thanksgiving! Your pets probably love it more, all the smells and the yummy food! But please make sure you don’t give your furry friend the wrong items!
Here’s what you should stay away from:
* Fatty foods: Animals have a hard time digesting fatty foods and it can even cause pancreatitis - which can be life-threatening!
* Pies and desserts: Chocolate is a no! Artificial sweetener called xylitol can be very harmful to dogs and cats.
* Bones: While raw bones are better, they still need to be monitored and supervised as not to accidentally swallow a large bone! Marrow bones are great, they’re too big to swallow but have the bone marrow in the middle for your pup to lick out. COOKED bones are dangerous, as they can splinter and puncture your dogs organs, mouth, etc.
* Decorative plants: Some types of plants for the holidays can be deadly and poisonous to pets. Some of these are: baby’s breath (gypsophelia), hydrangea, amaryllis, poinsettias, and more! The SPCA has more information on this.
* Raw meats: While raw beef is usually okay, other raw meats such as chicken, turkey, and pork should never be fed to your pet raw. They could get salmonella poisoning. Humans are able to eat rare steaks without feeling sick or getting salmonella, which is also why animals shouldn’t get sick from steak. Monitor how much raw steak a pet eats, as it can effect pets differently.
* Bread dough: Raw yeast bread dough is not good for pets! While they digest it, the yeast continues to turn the sugars into carbon dioxide gas and alcohol. This will lead to a bloated and drunken animal, which could lead to hospitalization.
Please be responsible with giving your pets treats this Thanksgiving! If you have any questions about this, please feel free to ask!

Lexi is the “founder” of Wags N’ Whiskers and currently leads advertisement. You may have seen her name in local groups or on Nextdoor!
She is currently a Junior going into Senior year at VCU and is majoring in Information Systems. She has 4+ years of petsitting under her belt, and loves to watch over any animals!
She has cared for fish (beginner and advanced aquariums), dogs (any size and age!), cats, hamsters/rodents/gerbils, birds, and many more! She also has experience with elderly animals, medication-giving, and physically disabled animals.

Due to popular demand, here are our COVID-19 Precautions:
• Sheets/towels/blankets/fabrics used will be washed before your return back home!
• Any surface used will be wiped down and sanitized regularly!
• Door k***s, handles, leashes, collars, etc.., will be wiped down and sanitized!
• Any incoming packages/mail can be wiped down upon request.
• Upon Meet&Greet arrival, pet sitters will wear a mask into the house and will remain on (unless okay-ed) by the client.
We’re 100% committed to keep your house clean and safe while you’re away! Any extra options can be added in via communication to the pet sitter.
