Or maybe they do? Because what they are talking about is mediocrity. Being average and performing at a level that is easily forgettable and far from world class.

So today, I’m going to tell you why nothing beats hard work!
~
If you don’t put in the hours and the work. You’ll never master your craft. You’ll never understand the intricacies and intangibles that allow you to create remarkable work!
~
There is an endless amount of practice, rehearsal and training, that must go on behind the scenes in order for you to perform at your highest level. That can’t be duplicated or replaced by anything other than, more hard work.
~
You can try and find a short cut, a hack or a system. But at the end of the day, nothing beats a man or woman who is committed to the development and constant improvement of their craft or calling.
~
Consistent hard work and years of dedication is what ultimately creates a master. Someone whose skill set, art work and competence cuts through the sea of mediocrity and touches the soul of another.
~
Working smarter, is something that only comes once you have become competent in your chosen discipline. You will fine tune and develop your process, but not before you have learnt the lessons that only your own hands and heart can teach you.
~
The cold hard reality of being successful, is that you must be willing to give of yourself and give everything you have to the mastery of something. You’re going to have to be known for something. You’re going to have to do something remarkable and perform at a level that simply takes the oxygen out of the room when people see you perform.
~
Your level of influence and significance will be tied to your level of competence and mastery of your craft. That is the truth and there is no other way around it. Don’t lower your frequency to play games and become a part of a toxic cycle. Revenge depletes your energy and steals from you. Move forward. What you remove your attention from will cease to exist. Get better. Attract better. You are too great to entertain such energies.

React with love. Sometimes that means retaliating with understanding and compassion; other times it means retaliating with acceptance and sheer silence. Whatever it is, make sure it benefits you as a human being instead of lowering you into a position which you would rather not be in. Normal people dont go around destroying other human beings. Only those who are hurt, lost, and confused cause pain. Don’t be one of them. Just take the lessons and move on gracefully.

Next time you feel wronged, just let go; surrender. Don't get angry or sad and depressed because something didn’t work out like you thought it would or things didn’t go as planned or somebody didn’t live up to your expectations. People will always do what they want and it's not your place to suffer or try to force them to be how you want them to be. That takes too much energy and we all know how much effort in takes to even change our own self. However, the moment you change the focus back on yourself and the things you want, something magical happens. Letting go and allowing instead of being resistant and fearful actually attracts to you exactly what it is that you want. Surrender to the universe and allow yourself to be guided to your soul's purpose.
When you decide to not react to people's nonsense, you decide to take full control over your life. You decide how you want to feel, rather than becoming a button for people to push. Don't ever let anyone close your heart and mind to the endless possibilities that life has to offer you. Don't give people that kind of power over you.
