My Miss Violet needs some prayers the new ticks out now are bad she gets a lyme shot every year, well we went yesterday and I ask for a blood panel cbc check up. Not so good news came from the test. She has blood Ehrichiosis and Anaplasmosis, I said never heard of this before, Vet said it new caused byrickettsial bacteria that are transmitted by ticks. Please google read up on it because getting diagnosed can save your dogs life. Don't just assume lyme anymore. Like a flu shot it doesn't cover all ticks. She's on antibiotics to clear it up.
