Everyone welcome Spike, the Hedgehog, to the family! He is a young male hedgehog that has recently join our sanctuary! His favorite things are his blanket and his roaches! Hedgehogs are are considered insectivores! Which means he will eat a wide variety of insects! However! He will also eat eggs, fruits AND vegetables! Did you know, hedgehogs can have anywhere from 5000 to 7000 quills and will shed them from time to time! But don’t worry! His quills are much much smaller than a porcupines quills! Many people describe holding a hedgehog like “holding a ball of toothpicks!”

Here are 3 super sweet babies that are also looking for homes! They are believed to be German shepherd, blue heeler, and pit Bull mixes! They will be 3 months old August 11th! They desperately need homes so if you or anyone you know would love a cuddly new addition to the family, please reach out to me! They are located in the Dallas Fort Worth area in Texas!

Everyone, meet Red! Red was found laying on the hot pavement in direct sunlight! He has been here with us at the sanctuary for about a week now and has been nothing but amazing! He is a healthy, unaltered boy! He is between 2-3 years old and just full of love! He is also kennel trained AND potty trained! If you or anyone you know is interested in adopting sweet Red, please message me for a meet and greet!

Update on Lola! She has settled in PERFECTLY! And has now bonded with her favorite person in the world! She absolutely loves her dad🫶🏼 We have found out her favorite foods are sun flower seeds, peanuts, and blue berries!!! And! As you can see from the photo, her favorite thing to do is snuggle with dad! Lola, you are doing amazing!❤️

Everyone, please welcome our newest member! This is Lola! She is a special needs Yellow Fronted Amazon. She is roughly in her mid 30’s! Her special needs are that she only has one leg! But that sure doesn’t stop her! She still has the same mobility and attitude of a regular 2 legged bird! She loves walnuts, but come on! Who doesn’t?!? We can’t wait to see how she grows here at the Walton’s Animal Wonderland Sanctuary!

Hi there! We are a new, small animal rescue in Mobile, Alabama! We take in animals from all walks of life no matter the reason, no questions asked! Our only goal is to provide a happy and healthy environment for any and all animals! It is only my husband, Devon, and I, Briana, but we have a combined 3 year professional experience as well as a lifetime of personal experience with several different breeds of animals! So far we are available to rescue all animals with the exception of farm animals! However, we will be able to start taking in farm animals within the next year!
