🐾 Volunteer Dog Walkers Needed – Help Us Fill Our Weekly Schedule! 🐾

Do you love dogs and want to make a real difference? Our shelter dogs need YOU! We’re looking for dedicated volunteer dog walkers to help give them the exercise, enrichment, and love they need while they wait for forever homes.

Top Priority:
We urgently need to fill our afternoon shift (1–4 PM) on a weekly schedule. This shift has been unstaffed since COVID, and our dogs truly need to get out twice a day for their physical and mental well-being.

We also need volunteers for:
• Morning shifts (9–12) during the week
• Sunday mornings (9–12)

Requirements:
• Must be 21 or older
• Must be able to handle large dogs (50+ lbs)
• Commit to a minimum of one shift per week
• Attend hands-on training until you’re confident on your own
• Select your availability in advance on our weekly schedule

Volunteering is incredibly rewarding—you’ll be part of a compassionate, supportive team and make a huge impact in the lives of dogs who need it most.

So excited to welcome Merissa to the Perfect Paws House Calls team! She’s a licensed vet tech and certified pet groomer with over 30 years of experience, and she even owned her own grooming shop in Brooklyn before making the move to Jersey. We’re lucky to have her on the Perfect Paws team, now providing in-home nail trims in Manalapan and surrounding towns.

Our shelter animals need your help! We’re running low on some essential supplies, and every donation makes a difference. Right now, we’re in need of:

🛏️ Fleece blankets & towels – for warm, cozy naps
🍼 Goat’s milk Esbilac – for our tiniest, most vulnerable babies
🐾 Cat scratchers – to keep our feline friends happy & healthy
🧼 Laundry detergent – because rescue life is messy!

🐾 Volunteer Dog Walkers Needed!

Love dogs? Want to make a difference in the lives of animals? Help our dogs stay happy and healthy while they wait for forever homes by giving them some exercise and companionship. Spending time with volunteers provides the dogs with socialization and proves to be a very rewarding experience! 🐾🐶

You must be 21 years old and comfortable working with dogs of different sizes and breeds. You will be required to attend hands on training sessions until you are ready to be on your own. We ask volunteers to commit to walking at least once a week. Volunteers are needed during the week and on Sundays between 9-12. We have a monthly schedule that you can pick the days that you are available.
