Hello everyone,

now that the Texas weather is finally cooperating, I was finally able to take pictures of the puppies today. They have grown up so much and gotten so big. They officially turned eight weeks old on Saturday. They are just trouble now and are going to be little heartbreakers.

-PLACED-

Meet Junior,

As some of you may remember, I posted him a couple months back. I am now officially searching for a home for him now that he is neutered and recovered.

Junior was originally named Astro since he is from our moon litter. He is 17 months old. Junior is house and kennel trained. Junior is very social and loves playing with other dogs . He has been around cats and doesn’t have an issue with them.

If you are interested in Junior, please private message me about him. I will be happy to answer questions about him. I’m located in West , Texas if you are interested in meeting him.

Bonnie will be leaving us once again to head on the show circuit. I plan on her not coming back until she obtains her AKC championship. She is currently sitting at eight points and a major. She needs seven more points and a major to finish. Wish her luck.

She shows next week in Fort Worth, and it is a five-point major. Hopefully, she finishes quickly so she can come back home. I usually just send her for a week at a time, but I decided that I would like to have her finish so I could work on performance titles. So, she is leaving with her breeder next Friday to hopefully obtain her AKC champion title.

The puppies got to enjoy their first time outside this past weekend. They had a bunch of fun, but mainly just wanted to follow the other dogs and try to play with them. It was a good experience for them, especially with the weather.

They have really started to develop a personality and different little traits that they all do. None of these puppies are available. One might end up being available after show evaluations, but we shall see.

Good afternoon everyone,

I am thrilled to share some up-to-date pictures of the gaming litter, affectionately known as the gaming litter, named after iconic Nintendo characters.

They are flourishing incredibly, and I am eager to witness their transformation at eight weeks old during show evaluations. I am supremely excited about the bright futures that await these remarkable puppies.

Good morning,

I am pleased to report that the puppies have reached one week of age and have all exceeded one pound in weight. As they mature, distinct personalities are beginning to emerge in each of the puppies.

I am exceedingly optimistic about this litter and eagerly anticipate observing their growth and development. I firmly believe that this litter will be truly exceptional.

In other news, Junior is scheduled to be neutered this coming week on the 18th and will officially be available for placement thereafter. I am still accepting inquiries for him and prefer to place him within Texas.

Hello everyone,

We are delighted to announce that the gaming litter has arrived today via cesarean section, making their debut in the afternoon.

I must express my enthusiasm for these puppies, and I am thoroughly pleased with the results of Agnes and Hamilton's litter. I am particularly hopeful that this litter will produce my first bred-by female from Hamilton.

Please note that we are not currently accepting inquiries for this litter. At present, we are allowing the puppies to mature to assess their show potential. Evaluations will commence when they reach eight weeks of age.

We wish everyone a wonderful evening.

Hello everyone,

Just like to share this picture from the Conroe show that I finally got around to purchasing. I know Little Miss is not stacked correctly, but I just wanted the photos since it was her second weekend out as a show dog in the big girl classes. I like having pictures to see where my dog started and how they ended up, developing to compare.

I do have some sad news to announce. Saiga will end up being retired from my program. I will not be placing her in a retirement home. She is my husband’s dog. She ended up absorbing her litter. So she will be fixed in the next couple of months.

Some exciting news though is Agnes is due this coming weekend. Wish us luck that everything goes smoothly. When puppies get here, I will be sure to post them.

Now that the litter announcement advertisement is complete, we are pleased to announce the upcoming arrival of a Hamilton litter. Agnes is expected to give birth around February eighth. The litter theme will be centered around gaming.

We extend our sincere gratitude to Jeanne Huff of Jeager Corgis for allowing us to lease Agnes for this breeding. We appreciate your invaluable assistance in facilitating this opportunity.

We are particularly enthusiastic about the prospect of retaining a female Hamilton for exhibition purposes.

We are currently accepting inquiries for this breeding and will consider two additional applications until the puppies are born.

Hello everyone,

Junior has returned as he did not meet my expectations as a show prospect. He was previously placed in a co-ownership home as a junior handler dog, where he participated in all-breed competitions and junior showmanship.

I am currently seeking a companion home for him. Junior would thrive in a household with an individual seeking a laid-back dog desiring a special bond with its owner. He has demonstrated compatibility with other dogs and has been exposed to cats.

Although Junior was previously around livestock at a younger age, his current reaction to them is uncertain. Having only recently returned, I have not had the opportunity to reacclimate him to livestock.

If you are interested in Junior, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Update 01/31 - No puppies she ended up absorbing the litter. She will now be retired from our program.

Ladies and gentlemen,

we are thrilled to share the exciting news that Saiga has been confirmed pregnant with Timber puppies. Confirmation was received on Monday, with the sonogram revealing a minimum of two puppies. An official puppy count is scheduled for January 31, ahead of her expected due date of February 4.

This cross has been meticulously planned for about a year, following a previous unsuccessful attempt. We are eagerly anticipating a smooth process and are currently accepting inquiries for companion homes only.

Moreover, we anticipate another litter due on February 8, with details to be announced upon completion of the litter announcement ad . The upcoming litters are expected to be red and white and tri-color puppies.

Hello everyone,

We’re end this show season this past weekend at Conroe. It was a lovely little show site and all the vendors that were at the show had amazing items for sale. Definitely would be a show that you need to go to just to look at the vendors.

The big star I would say this weekend would be Louis. He won his class all three days of the show with a dog that was amazing so I was quite proud of him. Since me and the other person that were in that class, we’re both the breeders of said dogs.

Little Miss it was all over the place depending on her attitude. She just hit seven months old and was trying to figure out if she wanted to play show dog or not. But the last day of the show, she finally held it together and managed to snag a second placement under a breeder judge out of a class of four.

Bonnie went reserve on Saturday and then the rest of the weekend only second in her class. But she had fun showing. So we are still on the hunt for a major for her and points. Bonnie needs seven more points and a major.

Hope everyone has a great weekend , Kaylee

Good morning everyone,

Bonnie has some show results to share . We have been busy for the past two weeks in a row going to shows. She shows again this week. Hopefully she gets her second major towards her AKC champion title.

Last weekend we were down in Arkansas showing at the Americans Stock Dog Show and she walked away with a breed under Melinda Julian.

Then this weekend at the Concho Kennel Club. Saturday there were two shows each each day. She went reserve winners for each show and on Sunday she hit it out of the ballpark and went winner, best of all opposite (over one special) , and owner handler best breed under Michael Canalizo.

So now Bonnie is up to eight points with one major. She needs 15 points and two majors to obtain her AKC champion title. Hopefully this week she will get her second major and then we can just focus on singles points. So that way after she finishes, we can focus on the fun performance events.

Good evening everyone,

I am super excited to announce that today I got to show one of my own bred by and put his first point on him!

I didn’t think it would be until sometime next year that I would be showing one of my own and putting points on them. This is the third puppy out of Hamilton now that has points!

So it is a incredible feeling. To see that I am finally getting an eye though since I still don’t feel confident with placing dogs as show prospects.

Huge congratulations to his owners Destiny Arnold & Allee Hill. I am so proud of all the work that y’all have put into him and taking care of him. I know it’s a lot of work with keeping a dog in show condition and how much y’all love that little dog. He is a good one. Thank y’all for letting me show him today. It was an honor.

Team Bonnie did amazing this weekend. She was entered in three out of the four UKC UDOG shows since I didn’t think I would be able to make both days.

Well, I got super lucky and now have all of her competition wins knocked out of the way now. She now has 45 out of the hundred points that she needs. The cardigans actually had a good amount of dogs entered, and I was super honored to walk away with one best of breed over some really nice dogs!

The group placement was a amazing touch. I’m still in shock about it. It was a tough group and huge thank you to judge Chandra Martin for pointing to her.

Thank you to all of Bonnie supporters this past weekend and especially thanks to her breeder for coming and watching her show and giving me pointers Ashley Elizabeth Miller. And thank you to Destiny Arnold for keeping me sane. This week has been a crazy week for me with its ups and downs .

Hello everyone,

Me and my husband have been talking about it and we have decided to place Bucky. I had planned on keeping him for life but I need someone that is home during the day and that has a doggie door that he can go in and out of.

Right now I have to keep him out in my kennel building since it has a doggie door and I just don’t think it’s fair for him.

He has a very small bladder which causes him to have accidents inside if he isn’t let out often. He can only be left alone during the day for about three hours. He can hold it all night without needing to go outside if you watch his water in take.

We are asking a small rehoming fee for him, and will require a questionnaire be filled out to be considered for him. He is current on vaccines and he is neutered.

I will not place him in a home that has kids under the age of eight years old. Since he has never been around kids and I don’t know how he would act around them. He is fine with cats, but can be overly friendly with trying to lick them in the face, he will chase them, but he’s just wanting to lick them in the face.

If you have any questions about Bucky, feel free to reach out. I will not be taking his placement lightly. He will be placed under a contract!

Meet the newest addition to Rustic Spur Kennel. I am so excited about this little girl. I had wanted her since I first laid my eyes on her when she was around eight weeks old.

Thank you so much to Jeanne Huff for giving me this opportunity. I remember when I told you if you ever change your mind about placing her to please offer her to me first. So thank you again for offering her to me.

She is now my current Pembroke Welsh Corgi that I will be showing myself since Hamilton has retired from showing. She already has her first show planned. I’m super excited about her being a sable since I’ve never owned one.She is out of AM Ch Jeager Don’t Go Breaking My Heart and Marnac Charlou She Wears Short Shorts.

Hello everyone,

I am happy to announce that Bonnie is now home after showing for a week. I showed her last weekend at Longview Sunday only and we were able to pick up reserve winners.

Then she left with her breeder (Ashley Miller) to go show in Kenner where she was able to secure her first major. She is now up to seven points with a major and I couldn’t be more proud of her.

We will be on the hunt for another major soon. She has a couple more shows planned for this month. So we shall see how it goes.
