Don't Skip the Chip! Microchips allow a greater chance for you & your pet to be reunited if they were to become lost. 🐾

According to OSU, the median return to owner rates for shelters were 2.4 times higher for dogs with a microchip than all stray dogs (52.2% vs. 21.9%) and 21.4 times higher for cats with a microchip than all stray cats (38.5% vs. 1.8%). 🤩

Once a "stray" animal is found, the animal is scanned for a microchip by the animal shelter or veterinary clinic. If the animal has a microchip, that unique ID will be searched in a database & the associated contact information will allow the shelter or clinic to reach out to you! 💙

Is your pet microchipped? If so, make sure the microchip has been registered & your contact information is listed correctly. If the wrong contact information is listed, there is less of a chance to be reunited with your pet!🐈‍⬛

This gentleman made us this harness for our kitties, it’s very unique and very thoughtful ! He makes them for dogs and cats, along with other items for humans! We had to give PENDRAGON CHAINMAIL a shout out! Check them out!

We had a great first day at the Oddmall today! 4 kitties adopted(pictured), we made a lot of connections & received some donations! There was a lot of cool stuff and a lot of good food there, so come check it out tomorrow! Stop by and see the kitties while you’re at it 😸 We also want to thank the volunteers that helped, we needed it badly!

Major announcement!! Mack, resident of 1 year has FINALLY been adopted 😻 Only one kitty has seniority over him & that is Ursula (1.5 yrs). Mack is amazing but he was waiting for the “right home” to shine 🤩 We will desperately miss him, but this is the best news we’ve had in 2024 ♥️ Now come visit Ursula! She no longer fits the name after all this time 😍

We thank you all for the donations towards Ernie’s teeth removal, it was a tremendous help! With how rescue goes, we are facing the next challenge- reaching our largest number of kitties, 41! 🙀 We have 22 kittens & 19 adults. This requires funds for vetting, funds for food/litter, etc & volunteers to take care of them, maintain our facility & transporting to the vet. We will be posting pictures soon but any support that can be offered we greatly appreciate it. 😻 The kitties & volunteers are most grateful for all of your continued support!

We are in need of volunteers for the Oddmall event next weekend, so far we have none. We basically are looking for someone to sit at a table with the kitties & talk to people when they approach…and essentially hope for adoptions, get donations or acquire new volunteers. Please share, even an hour or 2 will help 😻
