During that time, she also wrote several articles and opinion pieces on horses and the equestrian industry for renown trade magazines such as Dressage Today, Stable Management, Farm & Ranch, Modern Arabian Horse, and Horse Country, among others. 🎥 Saddle Placement Matters! 🐴

Hey equestrians! Did you know many of us place our saddles too far forward? This can cause discomfort and even harm to our horses.

Here’s why it’s bad for the trapezius:

Pressure Points: Placing the saddle too far forward creates pressure on the trapezius muscle, leading to pain and restricted movement.

Muscle Atrophy: Constant pressure can cause the trapezius to atrophy, impacting your horse’s overall health and performance.

Movement Restriction: A saddle placed too far forward restricts shoulder movement, making it difficult for your horse to move freely and perform at its best.

Tip: Ensure your saddle sits behind the shoulder blades, allowing the trapezius to move freely and your horse to stay comfortable.

✅ Proper Placement = Happy Horse!
