d. We started as a single stud operation out of Stamford, CT. In the fall of 2016 our boy Rory, whose name means “Red King” in Gaelic fathered his first litter with a beautiful color point female from Long Island. The first romantic tryst launched a fulfilling breeding career. After three years of providing stud services to the catteries on the East Coast, we feel that we have accumulated enough experience in felinology and built enough professional friendships to start our own cattery, so we registered Aurora Siberians. Our first queen Maya arrived from Minsk in the spring of 2019 with her companion Max (who is being evaluated for stud work). Our breeding cats live in separate homes to ensure that all pregnancies are planned. They stay inside and sometimes venture on the balcony in a harness. We are lucky to have excellent veterinary services in our area.
