Fireworks may be fun for us, but for pets, they can be scary, and the booms often continue well past the 4th of July. 🌩️ Thunderstorms and other loud noises can trigger anxiety too.

This adorable 16-week-old kitten just joined the Southside Pet Hospital family, and we couldn’t be more smitten! 💛🐱

Bean was such a sweet little patient for their first visit — full of curiosity, tiny meows, and just the right amount of sass. We’re so excited to watch this little one grow and be part of their journey to a healthy, happy life!

We’re thrilled to introduce the two newest (and fluffiest!) additions to our crew — meet Gnocchi and Penelope! 💕 These adorable kittens have already started stealing hearts with their playful antics and sweet snuggles.

Whether they're chasing toys or curling up for naps, these two are bringing so much joy and cuteness to their new family. 🐱💗

Congratulations to Sullie! He was voted our FIRST pet of the month for June 2025. Here are a few words from his human:

Sullie is a Parsons Jack Russell Terrier, that we adopted from a rescue when he was around 3 or 4 years old. He is between 15 and 16 years old now, but still as spunky as ever! He likes to relax, explore in the back yard, beg for whatever food you have, and hang out with his human family, and his two dog brothers. Sullie is spoiled and so very loved by his family.
