Rocket is my first rescue dog. I knew after my two Shi Tzu's passed this past year that if I were to get another baby, it would be a rescue as I see so many babies who need their forever home. I did not realize how scary this process would be though.
After picking him up in south Florida, we could see he had been somewhat abused and all he wanted to do is fight us bite us and growl at us. We took him to our vet and they could not even examine him!
They recommended Lisa and I called her asap. Lisa responded immediately and we began our fun journey with Rocket.
Lisa has been a godsend to what I was so worried about. In only a couple of sessions, she has Rocket trusting us, loving us, letting us pick him up, kiss him, and following all the commands he is taught. We are now having so much fun teaching him and playing with him.
You can tell Lisa loves what she does and I am so glad we are working with each other on our new baby!

May 16th Tina received her AKC's 10 step canine good citizen certificate.
Today, she officially received her certification as a Therapy Dog! (Part of the process was me passing a background check, glad I didn’t let Tina down)
Such a great pup ( literally, 15 months old)

When she first joined us at 5 months of age, she never had a collar or walked on a leash. In fact, as we brought her home, our first stop was a Petco and we had to put her in a shopping cart because she just didn’t understand how to walk with people.

Started the day with a Pre-dawn peaceful beach stroll and witnessed a loggerhead turtle nesting. Then, conducted engaging distraction training drills for young pups, emphasizing social skills and desensitization. Concluded the day with a restful early night and a pay raise for 💗Kali💗

My first PEACH BLOSSOM CLUSTER 2024 was one for the books with this once in a lifetime fur-kid of mine💗🐾💗
The schedule was intense and the competition fierce but friendly!

6 new AKC Titles

The highlights;

Winning the Senior Bunny Chase Award in memory of the late “HYDE PARK’S SWEET PETUNIA. It was such an honor and a privilege🐾🐇🐇🐾

3rd place in the Peach Blossoms MOST VERSATILE DOG competition.
The competition was fierce but friendly!

Second place went to my lovely friend Maggie Nipper and kiwi.

Firstplace went to my lovely friend Lindsey Lloyd and Jaxon!!

Ladies, Kali and I could not have done it without you both💗🐾💗 was definitely not expecting to be on akc.tv. I’m not great at the Facebook 😓so sorry if I’m forgetting anyone!
