At the Mt. Rainier Labrador Retriever Club specialty, JRL Lost Spring’s Ex’s and Oh’s “Elle” (GCHG CH Hyspire Ghotstone A Tough Nut To Crack CGC TKN ATT FTN x JRL Go Go Girl) was Winners bitch for her first major. Thank you to respected breeder judge Kathy Sneider for finding our beautiful girl! At the end of that weekend she also went reserve winners bitch! We are so proud of this young girl.

It’s been a busy couple months with lots of travel and excellent dog shows between the Rose City Labrador Specialty and the Puget Sound Labrador Retriever Association specialty. We are so honored that our girls JRL Princess Fiona (Fiona) and JRL Lost Spring’s Ex’s and Oh’s (Elle) have placed in virtually every class they entered. But the biggest honor of all was to win Winners Bitch and Best of Winners with Fiona at the PSLRA. We also had the great pleasure of participating in the peewee class, introducing the next generation of dog lovers to showing. We have a few more shows left this year, and we look forward to introducing the boys, Swagger and Maverick to the show ring.

Update: this beautiful girl went to an amazing family to be their next service dog, tasked to pick things up for her owner.

This beautiful lady is looking for her forever home. She’s 13 weeks old, has been dewormed, had her vaccines, vet checked and microchipped. She comes from a champion sire and is an absolute sweet heart! Pm for more info.

Happy Belated Father’s Day to all the great dads both two legged and four! We couldn’t do it without our resident puppy wrangler, snuggler, up all night guardian and pooper scooper!

Over memorial weekend we had a wonderful dog show with our awesome group! Day 1 Cruise was winners dog, best of winners and Novice Owner Handler Series Best of breed. Our young girl Elle (13 months old) went winners bitch and best of opposite s*x for her first points toward her championship! And not to be left out, Fiona went reserve winners bitch! What a first day! The next two days Cruise was reserve winners dog and Elle was reserve winners bitch. Fiona did win her class each day. What a great weekend!

We have 1 black female available to go home now. She is 9 weeks old, first vaccines, vet checked, dewormed, microchipped and comes with 26 month health guarantee and 30 days of pet insurance.

Edit: Maisel has found her forever family!

We are rehoming an older female. Maisel is 3 years old, born 1.2.2021. Maisel is a super sweet and kind girl who is looking for her perfect family. She will do best with older kids/adults and larger dogs. We do not recommend her for families with small dogs or cats. She loves to play fetch and cuddle on the couch. Maisel is spayed and will be ready to go him in a couple weeks. There is a rehoming fee. PM for details.

Fancy (Nipntuck All Aces x JRL Delilah) has been bred to Viper (Multi BISS GCH CH Clovercreek I'll Fly With You) for black and yellow puppies due approximately April 8th.

Fancy is Co-Owned with Mary and Jeffrey Little.

Just one of the many reasons we love Labradors ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Labradors, the social butterflies of the canine world, have an endearing knack for dismissing the concept of personal space. Picture this: you sit down, intending to enjoy a moment of solitude with a good book. Suddenly, a furry force of affection barges in, tail wagging with enthusiasm, blissfully unaware of the invisible bubble you had hoped to maintain.

They'll sidle up with the finesse of a dance partner who missed the memo about personal boundaries. You find yourself marveling at their ability to transform a solo reading session into an impromptu cuddle-fest. It's as if Labrador 101 includes a chapter on "Mastering the Art of Invasion with Love."

No matter how hard you try to carve out your cozy nook, Labradors see it as an open invitation to cozy up alongside you. Forget personal space; Labradors have an uncanny ability to turn every moment into a shared adventure, and you can't help but surrender to the joyous chaos of their company.

What a whirlwind week! The LRC National Labrador show was good to us! I am grateful to everyone who offers wisdom and knowledge to me at the shows. Every time we enter the ring I learn something new. I feel honored to have made the cut in virtually every class I walked into this past week amongst a beautiful lineup of dogs/bitches each day! A huge improvement and step forward for me and my girls (Lotus and Fiona). Cruise was such a good boy and was great for me all week, placing as well in each of his classes.

Thank you to the Puget Sound Labrador Retriever Association for their great show along with MRLRC and the parent club LRC for a fabulous week with great raffles, good shows, and even better conversations and company.

As promised, more information on the exciting addition here at Lost Spring Retrievers! His name is Cocktail Hour Bella Mare, or “Cruise”. This handsome boy is proudly owned by JR Little Labradors, and we have the unique opportunity of standing him at stud here at Lost Spring. We do expect a litter the beginning of November by him, and hopefully more to come in the future! He is available for stud to approved females. He is currently showing and has points towards his champion title.

We are excited to announce that Maisel, our chocolate Russian import female has come into season! We will be pairing her with Cruise, a very handsome Polish import Stud who is proudly standing at Lost Spring Retrievers (more to come on this exciting new addition) .
