Since 2015 we assist w/providing pet food for the elderly, assist w/ shots and minimal vet procedures.

We trap and shelter strays until they can be placed in their forever homes. Next summer we have 40 acres deeded to the Shelter for large animals too.

Cora, AKA HWY Kitty, This beautiful 4 month old kitten was found in the middle of the Standford HWY. She was very sick with a urinary tract infection and pink eye. She needs blood tests for leukemia and AIDs so will not be available for adoption for awhile.

Hello! The Blue Heron Animal Shelter needs to raise $980 to complete their pass through account to access funds for food, vet costs and homing countless animals. Currently, we need to spay/neuter 16 cats in house and pay for medications for two.animals, in addition to the standard monthly costs that this growing facility is incurring.

Meet Baby
Although 2 years old she is a perpetual kitten due to inbreeding. Baby has a cracked sinus cavity and needs continuous antibiotics. She is fun-loving and cuddly💕

This is Raja the 23 1/2 hour cat. He comes in for a belly rub, 20 min nap, a bite of soft food then outside for 23 an a half hours. Stays in the yard.
