Our veterinarians requested that we make such videos, and we are happy to have completed this project with the help of NMCO Creative Studios. Each video also includes options to use English subtitles for the hard of hearing and Spanish subtitles for Spanish speakers. We will not have any doctors in the office tomorrow, December 28. We will be open from 8am- 4pm, but will not be seeing any pets due to not having a doctor. If you have prescriptions that have already been filled and need to pick up, someone will be here to assist you. If you have an emergency with your pet, please go Urgent Care or the Emergency Clinic in El Paso. We also have VetTriage available where a doctor can help you online. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We will have doctors back in office on Thursday, December 29 from 8am to 7pm.

We are proud to offer after-hours emergency veterinary triage to our clients through video telehealth services. The VetTriage veterinarians will provide the same level of quality care you receive during normal business hours. They will triage your pet to assess if you are facing an emergency that requires an immediate visit to an emergency hospital. If you do not need to go in, they will provide home care and monitoring instructions. In the event you need immediate assistance, they will help you find the nearest 24 hour emergency veterinary hospital.

Howdy Jornada Friends!
At the end of June, Dr. Lauren Rath left our clinic to start a new and exciting journey out of state. As sad as we were to see her go, we wish her all the success at her new position and she will be missed dearly. Dr. Rath brought positive energy and love to not only our team but to her patients as well.

Currently we are looking for an additional doctor to join our team and we appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate the schedule to have your pets see one of our other amazing doctors as quickly as possible.

Hello friends of Jornada! We understand our furry friends can get into situations that happen to land outside of office hours and those situations can be scary without knowing what the best course of action is. We’d like to welcome the Vettriage Veterinary Team as an after-hours emergency veterinary triage to our clients and their furry family members through video telehealth services on our website.

On our website if you click the “Service” tab and select “Telehealth”, you will be redirected to Vettriage page where you will be asked to create an account before starting a session. Once the session starts, you will be connected to a member of the Vettriage Veterinarian team who will then answer any questions or concerns and help assess if your pet needs to be taken to an emergency clinic or can be cared for at home until our office opens again. The cost for these sessions is $50, which remains the same no matter what day, time, or how many pets you discuss during the call.

Any session that is done through Vettriage is then emailed to our veterinarians so your pets file is kept up to date with any after hours care and we can follow up as needed.

Our Jornada team want the best care for your pets 24-7 and hope this helps brings your family a sense of peace knowing you can get help at any time.

Veterinarians Without Borders has teamed up with Pathway Veterinary Alliance to help with the animals in Ukraine. Our friends at Pathway are matching all donations dollar for dollar up to $25,000 to help these animals experiencing the trauma of this war. Many were able to get away with their family, but many were left behind as well. Veterinarians from all over are helping these animals. Some have no food, no homes, no family and many are injured from the war. We have more information in our office if you would like to find out how you can help. Any donations must be made in person in our office and will be taken until April 24.
