With sincere gratitude and a heavy heart, we’re writing to let you know that Go Buddy Run will cease operations on Sunday, August 10, 2025.
Over the last five years we’ve been honored to serve you and your four legged companions as the DMV’s very first mobile dog gym. Unfortunately, the localized demand in our core neighborhoods has not grown fast enough to sustain our small team. Expanding our service radius dramatically increased fuel and repair costs for our mobile fitness unit, and despite every effort to adapt, the numbers no longer allow us to operate responsibly.
Because financial sustainability is essential to the safety of our staff, our pups, and the long term health of the business, we’ve made the difficult decision to shut down. We understand this news may disappoint many of you—please accept our deepest apologies.
Looking ahead
This is goodbye—for now. We’re proud of pioneering the region’s first mobile dog gym and remain passionate about canine fitness. If market conditions improve, we hope to re introduce Go Buddy Run to the DMV in the future. Until then, we encourage you to keep your pups active and healthy—rain or shine, treadmills or trails!
Thank you for sharing your dogs, your enthusiasm, and your trust with us. Serving this community has been the adventure of a lifetime, and we are forever grateful.
