Snitker Stables was previously Snitker Ranch which was located on a large ranch outside of Harrodsburg, KY. We are MOVING and are now located in Richmond, KY on a 6 acre farm in a very easy to find spot right off of I-75! The farm is 5 minutes from Richmond and only 15 mins from Lexington! New location will be opened for business starting in May 2018!
HORSES FOR SALE & ADOPTION: Our wide variety of horses come from many different places and backgrounds. Most are from rescue situations or come from homes where they were either unwanted or not given the chance they needed to succeed. Check out the ‘for sale’ photo albums on this page for all horses available on the ranch and placed in new homes!
HORSE TRAINING: We offer training from breaking and starting to finishing, any age or breed in a wide variety of disciplines western or english. We use all natural horsemanship methods and a reining basis in our training. Your horse can be fine tuned in reining, ranch work, cattle work, barrel racing, western pleasure, english pleasure, trail riding, etc. As well as problem fixing things such as trailer loading, standing for farrier, bathing, rearing, bucking, aggression, laziness, etc. In certain cases we can take horses on consignment as well and advertise/help sell your horse while in training. Rates vary. A number of previous training clients have photo albums on this page so clients can see real time updates of their horse’s progress.
