He's your personal co-pilot, tour guide, and cheerleader for every car ride, any hour, any day. If there’s a road, he’s ready to ride it.

Once the wheels stop, Rex is all about adventure. Park trails? Lead the way. Tree saplings? He’s very committed to its growth by watering each one. Every walk turns into a full-on exploration mission, complete with enthusiastic sniff reports and tail-wagging commentary.

Earn his trust, and congratulations — you now have a full-time, cookies-and-cream cocker spaniel shadow. He’ll follow you everywhere. And we mean everywhere. We did say we have a DOUBLE dose of cuteness for you this morning, so please meet Shanti's brudder: Baloo. Baloo is a sweet 12-week-old Cocker Spaniel mix with the softest heart and the cutest puppy spirit. Shy at first, Baloo is looking for a patient adopter who will give him the time and love he needs to come out of his shell. Once he feels comfortable, his playful side shines—he loves chasing his foster siblings in the backyard, wrestling with toys, and then curling up for a long, cozy nap.

Baloo is crate trained, doing wonderfully with his housebreaking, and already learning his puppy manners. He’ll thrive in a home with a securely fenced yard and children over the age of 7. Because he’s still a young pup, Baloo uses his mouth and teeth to explore, so a family that understands puppyhood is a must. He gets along beautifully with other dogs and would love a canine companion to keep him company. While we aren’t sure what he’s mixed with, we expect him to grow into a medium-sized adult dog.

We've got a double dose of cuteness for you this morning, so buckle up. As you may know: we sometimes will get in cocker spaniel mixes and mixed siblings are always funny because there may be one with a more "cocker" look and one where you may be like ??? what is happening here. Yeah, confession: we don't care about any of that. So please Meet Shanti, an adorable 12-week-old Cocker Spaniel mix who is all puppy—curious, playful, and full of life! She’s discovering the world with boundless enthusiasm and would love nothing more than to share her adventures with a loving family. Shanti is crate trained and making steady progress with potty training, and with her eagerness to please, a little consistency will have her mastering it in no time.

Shanti absolutely shines around other dogs and would thrive with a canine sibling to show her the ropes as she grows. While she hasn’t been tested with children or cats, like many young pups she can be mouthy and will do best in a home with older children. She’s a little shy at first, but with patience, encouragement, and love, she blossoms into a playful, affectionate pup who’s ready to soak up all the cuddles and adventures.

Adorable & adoptable: Flo. When Miss Flo first came to us 4 months ago (!!) she was carrying something a little extra..ok, SEVEN little extras. About 2 weeks after her arrival, she gave birth to the Floofs and spent the next couple of months being the best little mama she could be. Once they all got adopted, Flo got back to what she does best: Snuggles & Squirrel Hunting. This girl may look like a supermodel, but trust us, she is ALLLL tomboy. There is not a creature she can't chase down--squirrels, birds, lizards--they tremble to see her coming. Paw Patrol aside, she's also an expert cuddler. Flo adores men and women are pretty ok too. Whomever will let her sidle right up and stick her head underneath their chin. She wants to be the little spoon. Everyone she meets falls in love in the first couple of minutes--it's hard not to. Maybe it's those amazing eyes. Miss Flo gets along just fine with other dogs. Cats are an unknown, but our guess is that she'd find them awfully fun to chase at first. She is a youngster (about 2 years old) and has a long low body that most people mistake for being part dachsund (dna test shows she's not). She'd love an affectionate family who will give her lots of snuggles and room to run.

Meet adorable & adoptable: Manchego. This ridiculously cute older gentleman is incredibly sweet. He is a low-maintenance kind of guy who's more into cuddles than chasing after toys. He'll politely tap you with his paw when he's ready for some love, and he's always up for a good belly rub. Manchego enjoys leisurely walks where he stops to smell all the roses along the way. Manchego gets along well with other dogs and loves nothing more than lounging in the sun. He's like a comfy blanket in a cocker spaniel body. If you're looking for a sweet, mellow companion to share your life with, Manchego might just be your perfect match!

A-yo! Carter here inviting you to our meet and greet tomorrow from 1-3pm at Pet Supplies Plus in Buda (near Cabela's) where you can meet me and and my foster brother Cheddar and some other pups I don't know but will probably be gnawing on. And for some Friday fun, we got my dna test results back and you can send us a guess of what you think mine said (shhhh, volunteers that already know!).

Adorable & Adoptable: Cheddar. You might think you know what "brave" looks like, but you've not seen Cheddar in action. This guy knows no fear. Cheddar was born just over a year ago with a birth defect where his eyes did not develop normally. He has no vision whatsoever. You would think that means that in new situations and environments, Cheddar takes things slowly... hahahahahahahaha: NOPE. Cheddar puts his large fuzzy head down and approaches everything at full throttle like the puppy he still is. Surprisingly, he doesn't run into things that much. He seems to have sonar level capabilities of figuring out where the obstacles and doorways are on just the first or second pass. He will orient himself to where you are by either listening to your voice or other ambient noises. His People learn "The Cheddar Shuffle" which is his way of following you through the house. To him that means sticking as close to your knees as possible--to You that means trying to walk with a cocker spaniel weaving between your legs. It's like a crazy dance where you will eventually all get where you're going but not necessarily in a straight line.

When Cheddar meets someone new--he takes one sniff and then immediately throws himself into whereever he thinks their lap might be. (he hits it 80% of the time). He lives in a foster home with several other dogs and he does like them--he just takes a minute to get to know new dogs and it helps if they don't immediately bowl him over. Cheddar crate trained himself in one week. He now runs to his crate when it is dinner time and puts himself to bed. He also discovered that there are baskets with TOYS in them where he can locate things that squeak which he finds hilarious. His other favorite hobbies include letting his foster brothers find all the good chewing sticks in the backyard and then stealing them.

Cheddar loves life and he would love a home where his people appreciate everything he can do, not focusing on the things that he can't. He can do so much and at just a year old--the world is his squeaky toy.
