PSA if you feed cats that makes you responsible for them, if you bring an animal to the vet that makes you responsible for them, if you house animals that makes you responsible for them. Do not take on this responsibility unless you’re willing to follow through!
We are not a shelter, and it is not our responsibility to help you find homes for your dozens of kittens that come from the cats you feed but won’t spay/neuter because they’re “not ours we just feed them” We try so hard to help others find help and we do what we can but we are full up as well, we have no open fosters, and we have no more funds except which come from our own pockets.
We are not trying to be mean, or harsh, we would love to help everyone but the unfortunate truth is that your local rescue hero’s are full, burnt out, under staffed, under funded, and under appreciated.

Meet Stella!

She’s 18 weeks old and Dapper Dans litter mate! Like Danny she had a rough start and needed some medical attention. She’s now healthy and happy and ready for adoption. She loves to play with toys, unlike her brother she’s quiet and not very talkative, she’s very laid back and unobtrusive. She would love a quiet, easy going home to chill out in.

Meet Tobias! He’s a cool dude with a-typical black and white markings! He’s about 10 weeks old, good with dogs and cats, and loves being picked up and played with so kids would be great for him! Not much phases him and he loves attention! He’s ready for adoption. This little dude has a lot of personality!

Have you ever wondered why adoption fees can be so expensive? For most cats and dogs the fee is under $80, however that doesn’t even begin to cover our expenses.

Canine annual vaccines are $150, puppies cost about $85-$120 per visit, and heart worm prevention as well as flea prevention is $25 or so a month. The last pup we adopted out had a total cost of over $1700 between parvo, shots, spaying, and vaccinations.

Feline ”annual vaccines” costs about $120
Feline kitten vaccines costs about $250 for the entire series
Feline Combo tests (fiv/felv) are $38
Spaying/neutering $80-135
Flea medicine $22 a month
Food, litter, foster time, and fuel to drive back and forth to the clinics for appts? No way to calculate. This only applies to the basics, our animals also come to us with health issues such as Dapper Dan, who’s veterinary bill was over $600 for the blood transfusion and hospitalization, his medicines, and getting him neutered as well as his combo test and his vaccines. The small amount we ask for as an adoption fee doesn’t even begin to cover our expenses.

*I never thought we would have to defend ourselves this way, but we DO NOT declaw cats, she was declawed well before she came into our care.

Hi! My name is Holly and I am an 8 year old spayed female declawed kitty. I’m completely white, and I am a very good girl. I can be a little skittish and it may take me a minute to adjust to a new home but I’m a love bug and a talker! I don’t seem to mind dogs but I don’t particularly care for them, other kitties who are nice don’t bother me much but I really am just a low key relaxed girl who would love a sunny spot in someone’s home to nap in and a lap to warm on chilly day.

My name is Dapper Dan!

I came from a cat colony here in Albany that is being looked after by a wonderful woman who saved my life by rushing me to the vet when I was very sick and required a blood transfusion and hospital care. I am 12 weeks old, fiv/felv negative and I am a very sweet, snuggly, calm boy! All four of my paws are white so I’m considered a snowshoe Siamese and I have the bluest eyes! I am happy around dogs, cats, and other children but I was considered feral until recently.

Is there someone out there who would love to call me theirs?

I’m already neutered and vaccinated!

Girls for adoption! They are approx 6-7 weeks old and ready for homes or home. Currently in foster, they have been checked out and dewormed. is here! Already we’ve had dozens of messages about litters. This is the time to run, not walk to a vets office to have your kitties spayed and neutered. Neutered males are less likely to fight, cutting down on transmittable diseases and injury. Spayed females can’t get pregnant, which cuts down on injury by Tom cat, transmittable disease, and of course! Oodles of kittens. There are low cost resources available, please help us help others, and please don’t hesitate to message us for help finding these resources.

Serafina is about 10-12 months sold. She was spayed last week and is fully vaccinated. She is a very quiet, laid back girl who loves to relax with people and is largely unbothered by adult humans. She can be nervous around small children (she’s just not used to them) but easily adjusts to dogs and cats. She is a sweet dainty girl who will stay small.
