Once in a while dogs that just seem to *get it* come into your life and they are so special (like Olive)! I cherish our *girl time* (i.e. walks 😂), cheer on her rolls in the grass, and make sure she understands how loved she is 🤍 I can't tell you why but there's a little bit of about her- & !

Weekend mornings are for adventures with siblings (and absolutely the best-trained dogs I've ever met, thanks to .stay.calm !) Zeus the and sweet Roxy the - we pick a new park, trail, or natural area to keep things fun every walk!
Not only have I learned so much from Katie (of Katie's K9 Co.), I've found so many new beautiful parts of San Diego! I'm looking forward to offering more services like this in 2022, now that has wheels and soon will be fully outfitted for complete pet safety during rides🤍

I just wanted to let everyone know that I'm fully booked through all of the upcoming holidays, with my schedule opening up more the second week of January!
*A quick reminder- I don't charge any booking change or cancellation fee until 48hrs before your service is set to begin, so please get hold of me as early as possible if you need me! I hate having to turn away work, but I have also learned that I cannot work three sittings at once to my normal standards (don't ask me how I know!!)
The last month and a half has been such a wild ride of meeting new clients & doggy friends, making new connections within the professional petcare field here in San Diego, stepping outside of my comfort zone, and most of all feeling incredibly grateful for all of the wonderful people in my life who brighten up my days! Especially the other women in this field of work who lift each other up instead of feeling threatened, and all of my wonderful clients- whether you've been here since the beginning or whether we just met, I appreciate you so much, and all of the trust you place with me when you book me to care for your much-loved pets!

I am so happy to introduce you to the newest member of my little doggy pack, Olive! She's a beautiful calm dog who enjoys relaxed strolls, sniffing in all the smells grass has to offer, and scritches behind her ears! Welcome, Olive!!

Sophie knows the value of a little Rest & Relaxation - I'm taking a page out of her book next weekend and taking time to unwind away from San Diego with my wonderful husband for our 5th anniversary! 🥰 I'll be leaving Friday evening (10/1), and will return Monday evening (10/4)!

Everyone meet one of my newest friends, Penn the puppy! He's only 7 months old but he's SO smart, we started working on "drop it" by only throwing another toy when he dropped what he had in his mouth and 15 minutes into that he was actively dropping the toys and looking to me to throw the next one! We have lots of time together booked coming up and I can tell we're going to be great friends!!

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT! (But first say hi to my first bunny friend, Belushi!!) I'm fully booked for the rest of the month for sittings (fri-sun), and additionally will be out of town the Fri 16th-Sun 18th & heading to Portland Thurs 29th-Tues Aug 10th. Just a little reminder!
The rest of August is open for booking and Hawespaws may be bringing on our first employee soon to enable our service area to expand, as well as launching our website where you'll be able to check availability, make bookings, and pay all in one place! Watch this space- exciting things are coming! 🤍🐶

What a little gentleman!! Teddy and I had such a fun day this week during a day-sitting: walking in the park, playing, and then he took the sweetest nap in the chair with me when he was all tuckered out. His little smile just melts my heart!

I can't even begin to say how excited I was to finally get the request to take care of my first kitty clients (LOVE cats!!) - after 3 years of strictly walking and sitting dogs! This weekend has been wonderful 😄 HawesPaws doesn't only walk & sit dogs!

After over 3 years of providing pet care full time through HawesPawes, I still get requests that are brand new to me! From now until Sophie's family has their new baby, I'm on call (as soon as I get THE call) to make sure she gets her daily walks and exercise while her family is bringing their new little one into the world! I'm so excited to play my small part in such a momentous occasion for a lovely couple!

Welcome Sophie to my little dog pack! She's a beautiful black lab who walks so nicely on a loose leash and smiles for every picture - I've been blessed with two new amazing doggy friends lately & couldn't be happier!

I just want to let my wonderful clients that I'm turning off my phone today to get caught up on custom portrait work. I will be open again tomorrow (the 13th) for last minute walk bookings before I head back out to Del Mar to sit beautiful Piper from the 14th-18th!

I'm excited to officially offer a new service here at HawesPaws- custom pet portraits! I use watercolors and some additional archival quality art supplies like alcohol markers, and have 4 different sizes of high quality paper available. DM me for details if interested! I have two more portraits in progress and will post the finished products when they're ready to be shipped out!

Spent such a nice weekend in Del Mar with Piper, who I missed SO MUCH since she moved! I'm now back in town and ready to walk again 😁 **there will be two more upcoming sittings in Del Mar in April where I will be unavailable: 4/8-4/11 & 4/14-4/18.
