I began this page and this little side hustle as a way to make a little extra money while having flexibility & teaching my daughter to care for animals other than our own. I named it for my favorite kitty, Henrietta. She was my little best friend, my cuddle buddy, my daughter's first best friend, and the biggest bed hog!

On December 10, we found out that Henrietta had bone cancer. She was in tremendous pain, stopped eating two days prior & couldn't stand up without falling over. I kissed her good bye and spoke softly to her as she went to sleep for the last time.

I'm still here, still available to pet sit and still a pet parent to three sweet kitties. Alabama, Hazel and Pretzel are the current feline residents of our home. Thank you for trusting us to care for your pets in 2024 and beyond!

My friend Andi Sutton has a pregnant Mama kitty in one of the local communities she works for. Anyone have room for a sweet little Mama and her soon to arrive babies? I'm sure someone out there has a barn she could live in and raise her babies. Or maybe someone would like to take her in and foster her babies until they're ready for new homes? Some of you know that my husband & I have fostered kitties over the years and helped many find permanent homes (some with us). Today we found this little guy wandering near a wooded area, begging for help. This fellow is gentle, super chill & purrs loudly. He has made quite the friend in our daughter. We absolutely cannot keep him, but we absolutely want to find the best possible home for him. Totally a guesstimate but he appears to be 4-6 mos old. He’s eating wet & dry food. If you know - responsible pet owner looking for a kitten / young cat, please send them our way! We would be willing to travel to connect him with the right family!

I'm Emily. I love kitties but I'm an equal opportunity pet lover. I am happy to take care of your four legged, furry friends and they'll be treated as though they're my own. I am married, have one precious daughter and I'm a resident of Laurel County. My family often helps me in the care and keeping of my clients so that the babies get all the attention and I am currently a Cat Mom to 4 very spoiled felines but I grew up with a dog and a cat who lived in the same house and were the best of friends. All of my cats have their own, unique personalities, likes and dislikes.

My oldest kitty is Henrietta, the namesake of this little side project. Henrietta is a 17 year old Tuxedo cat. at 17, she is still very healthy but arthritis has slowed her down quite a bit. Sometimes she just needs to be carried. Oliver is our only boy. He is 14. He's the sweetest little old man who doesn't like fish flavored food and waits for his feline sisters to eat before he does. Alabama is 11; she had a complete mastectomy after being diagnosed with Mammary Chain Cancer (Feline Breast Cancer) last fall. As a 10 mo old kitten, she had surgery to remove a nasal pharyngeal polyp. Alabama has come a long way from the 4 week old bottle fed, sick kitten that my husband found in 2012 & she has required extensive vet care and at home medical care. Finally we have Hazel, the youngest of the bunch. She tries to be the boss at times but Henrietta puts her in her place! She is 9 years old, loves Henrietta & her nickname is Fat Cat.

I share this info about my own pets so that you know you can trust me to care for pets of all backgrounds. I have experience with medically complex fur babies, senior pets and the sweetest little puppies and kittens. Special dietary needs don't worry me. I will always take your fur baby to your preferred vet practice in the event that an illness or injury occurs while you're out of town & I'm happy to send you pictures while you're away from home.
