Some of you know that my husband & I have fostered kitties over the years and helped many find permanent homes (some with us). Today we found this little guy wandering near a wooded area, begging for help. This fellow is gentle, super chill & purrs loudly. He has made quite the friend in our daughter. We absolutely cannot keep him, but we absolutely want to find the best possible home for him. Totally a guesstimate but he appears to be 4-6 mos old. He’s eating wet & dry food. If you know - responsible pet owner looking for a kitten / young cat, please send them our way! We would be willing to travel to connect him with the right family!
I'm Emily. I love kitties but I'm an equal opportunity pet lover. I am happy to take care of your four legged, furry friends and they'll be treated as though they're my own. I am married, have one precious daughter and I'm a resident of Laurel County. My family often helps me in the care and keeping of my clients so that the babies get all the attention and I am currently a Cat Mom to 4 very spoiled felines but I grew up with a dog and a cat who lived in the same house and were the best of friends. All of my cats have their own, unique personalities, likes and dislikes.
My oldest kitty is Henrietta, the namesake of this little side project. Henrietta is a 17 year old Tuxedo cat. at 17, she is still very healthy but arthritis has slowed her down quite a bit. Sometimes she just needs to be carried. Oliver is our only boy. He is 14. He's the sweetest little old man who doesn't like fish flavored food and waits for his feline sisters to eat before he does. Alabama is 11; she had a complete mastectomy after being diagnosed with Mammary Chain Cancer (Feline Breast Cancer) last fall. As a 10 mo old kitten, she had surgery to remove a nasal pharyngeal polyp. Alabama has come a long way from the 4 week old bottle fed, sick kitten that my husband found in 2012 & she has required extensive vet care and at home medical care. Finally we have Hazel, the youngest of the bunch. She tries to be the boss at times but Henrietta puts her in her place! She is 9 years old, loves Henrietta & her nickname is Fat Cat.
I share this info about my own pets so that you know you can trust me to care for pets of all backgrounds. I have experience with medically complex fur babies, senior pets and the sweetest little puppies and kittens. Special dietary needs don't worry me. I will always take your fur baby to your preferred vet practice in the event that an illness or injury occurs while you're out of town & I'm happy to send you pictures while you're away from home.

Henrietta is the old lady of our household. At 16.5, we are so thankful for her excellent blood work and check up today. We rescued her when she was just a few months old and she continues to rescue me with love, laughter and snuggles. If you entrust me with the care of your feline or canine companion, they will receive the same treatment as my fur babies. If you need someone to drop by and feed / care for your pets, I hope you’ll call on me. I think my pets’ health speaks to my care and attentiveness as a Pet Mom.
Beetle supervised (rather impatiently) while I cleaned food bowls at meal time. There is zero tolerance for slow service! 😹
Cats can develop painful kidney infections, bladder infections, bladder stones, and urinary tract infections if their litter boxes and the surrounding areas are not kept clean. I can help maintain your litter boxes, sweep / vacuum up the residue, feed your fur babies and make sure they get lots of chin scratches while you’re out of town.
This is Lovey, a Cornish Rex like her brother Rocky. Lovey is a petite little
princess. She is more guarded than her brother but always happy to supervise from afar as we clean her litter & refill her food. It is a joy to have sweet clients like these!
We had the privilege of taking care of this handsome fellow over Labor Day Weekend. He and his sister Lovey are Cornish Rex cats. Rocky is so playful, inquisitive and outgoing!

You may wonder where our name comes from… Meet Henrietta, my sweet, almost 16 year old Tuxedo cat. She has been our daughter’s best friend since birth & she was my baby before we had a baby. I love all my kitties, but Henrietta and I (and Henrietta and Maggie Clark) share a special bond. She’s stubborn and demanding, she always knows when someone is sad or sick and she’ll come snuggle you. She sleeps with me every night. I promise to treat your pets with the utmost kindness, just like I treat my own. 💕 🐈 🐕🦺 🐾
Hunter & Abby, some of our friends / client’s! Hunter & Abby have a fenced in backyard that they’re able to roam freely in. Their parents were gone for the day, so I visited them twice, made sure Hunter had his pill with their evening meal and followed the owners guidance for waste removal. I’m happy to work with you and tailor a plan that meets your family’s needs for pet care!
The four kitties who share our home are pretty sure my entire purpose in life is to pet and feed them, make sure they have sunny spots to lay in, etc. Many of you know me from my other venture Maggie Clark’s Fudge Company (I make great fudge too), or other walks of life.
